LeeSin "I have thrown my sonic wave at you, but it missed! The gank has failed. item 2044 but wait! I have just jumped towards you, slowed you, and then kicked you to where I want you to go. Gank is a success"

This is why Lee will always be top pick. He can still make a failed initiation into a successful one without the use of summoner spells. Nidalee is a good example of what a targeted initiation should be like, she marks her targets and then chooses to go in. If she does not mark her targets she can't get her jump. If she does get her mark and she does go in, she is committed to the hunt. Lee can miss his Q and still make a bad gank into an amazing gank just with his W.

His damage is also incredibly high early game with his Q. There is the initial damage, then the recast damage, and then the %damage. Now this would be fine if hes stuck there now, but his W now makes his Q op due to the safety. And the %damage works really well with his ult, if he marks, ults and then reactivates the q.

Here is what I propose, either get rid of the % damage on his Q, which would force him to think about his build. Or if he keeps his %damage change how his W functions. Sustain, mobility, and a shield that can be used on himself or others is a lot of utility.

I know everyone loves his flashy plays and I'm not asking for that to be taken away. I just want his oppressive power to be toned down a bit.

Your wrong that lee is missing his Q. He is just making a low skill move to another low skill move instead of doing actual work. I am not sure why people are ever impressed by a minnion jump to a ward jump. At least when Insec was doing it he would ward dash q ult and q to follow the player. Which meant that he had to get in position without being seen.

Jumping around that much eats his energy bar but he gets to ULT for free. I wish riot put a 100 energy cost on the move to make people actually have to position and not just jump around and then ULT for free.

You make a good point, but at this stage unless his winrate starts skyrocketing Riot isn't going to look at Lee Sin.

Well they might have to. He is still being top picked in pros (OGN and LPL). There is a reason that he is being picked and riot will have to resolve it so jungle tanks can happen.

He's been strong for years, and he got some pretty heavy nerfs last season. He's reached a point where in the hands of some players he's complete and utter shit, but in the hands of those who know how to use him best he's god tier.

High ceiling, low floor. Either you're going to do amazing or you're going to suck some serious balls. That's the point of a champion who's high skill cap. Believe me, I don't like losing my jungle to a Lee Sin anymore than the next guy but it doesn't change that it's what he does, and if someone pulls it off it's as much my fault for not buying enough wards as it is that Lee Sin can be oppressive during 1v1s.

Lees stats are all insane. Compare them to any tank and your like, what?

The skill ceiling is not that high. The fact people use minions to close distance then ward jump(double easy movement) and then ults is not skilled. He also has some really decent move speed.

In season 3 they nerfed naut cause he could do damage will building tanky, which meant naut was able to defend himself in his jungle. Riot said no you can not do that and took away that ability. Why is lee allowed to gank, invade, 1v1 and team fight? Lee is still not balanced.

Things Lee does not need if he is going to be a double jump displacing tank (since everyone thinks that is his role). 1 His base movement speed. If he is going to get so much free mobality he can have the same speed as Mao or naut 2 2.0 attack ratio on his ult. If he is a tank then he should not need that much damage (again compare to other tanks) drop to (still high)

now he might be skillful
