You might as well start a new account if you hit a bad losing streak.

Your mmr can drop in a blink of an eye but climbing it back to getting more lp per win than a loss would require a 55% winrate for a huge period of time.

2 bad days has to be overcome by probably 2+ weeks of above average play. 3 bad days in a row? Forget about it.

Starting a new account won't teach you how to avoid massive losing streaks, so you might as well stick it out with the one you have skins on.

Tbh, you cant "learn" how to avoid the basket case teams that only show how toxic, intentionally troll, etc they'll be until you're already ingame.

I'd chalk about 70 of my 260ish losses to "Welp, couldn't be fuckin helped whatsoever, i just got unlucky" and the other 190 to "Fair game, lost due to outskill but both parties were pretty equal"

Sure, thats 190 out of 260, which is more than half by a reasonable margin, but SEVENTY GAMES that were usually back-to-back-to-back combos.

Like, dont get me wrong, i'm silv1-gold5, no more than that for sure, but being CONSTANTLY shoved back to s2, 0lp just to climb all the way back up to s1 and repeat is genuinely infuriating I'm obviously not getting WORSE, aside from my occasional trips to top/supp when i burn out from jungle (in which i'm def not at the top of my game), yet my LP suffers nonetheless

He's pretty right tbh If you get 1 awful team or obvious booster/smurf on the enemy team, prepare to get another 8 unwinnable games AT MINIMUM before you can re-climb to your original LP and try to advance.

I'd argue most losing streaks are from tilt, rather than getting a constant stream of bad teams. It's not a great sample size, I know, but pretty much everyone I've seen on here that complains about losing streaks doesn't have a good strategy to combat their own tilt.

There is nothing right about this.

I am shooting for 2K ranked games in my bronze elo, but I sure have learned a lot.
