Reworked Akali feels like Zoe 2.0, and I don't like it

Seriously, when are you suppose to outplay this champion? If you're melee against Akali, the spike thing Akali throws is oppressive as shit, and if you happen to catch her in a bad rotation or while her shit is on CD, she just smoke screens. Then when she smoke screens, she does a billion different dashes while stunning you with her ultimate and doing whatever the fuck Akali wants to do with you while you can barely target the damn champion. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON OVER THERE AT RIOT HEADQUARTERS TO KEEP RELEASING THIS BULL SHIT, I better have 20 fucking bans for next season if you keep this shit up

Her damage is Ok I would say only one thing I hate is that true stealth (sorry for mistaken sentence).

Wait out her shroud, be Darius, hav any AoE which most mids hav, etc.

I think she was made to counter other assassins considering her shroud and ult makes it easy to avoid a lot of their burst, but with mages shes honestly pretty easy to beat. Just poke her a lot pre-six and try to deny minions. If she ever tries to engage with her e just use any form of cc to stop and possibly kill her, it isn't too hard considering her e forces her to move in a straight line towards you. Once she hits six just play a bit farther back and don't walk into her shroud. Zoe is not even comparable to akali. She has much faster burst, insane range, and one of the longest hard cc abilities in the game while also dealing shit tons of true damage.

I'm not sure how to reliably counter her, but in a game earlier an Akali dropped her shroud, got hit by my team's Zoe E, and we saw where she was slept in the shroud. I as Varus was able to drop my ult on her in the shroud and we bursted her down. With some CC and luck she can be beat I suppose.

Mordekaiser seems to do well vs her in lane in every game I have seen the matchup. His E out ranges her Q, His shield prevents a good bit of her harass, his W aoe hits her thru shroud and gives hints on where to aim the E as well as keep track of her so you can R or land a Q auto when she breaks stealth. R's dot also outlasts shroud so you get vision on her movements.
