Well they ARE both Fighter/Assassin type of champs. At least it isn't something like Nasus Vayne or TahmKench Heimerdinger

Also a reminder that both Galio Shen did received MR per level buffs for being Tank champs.

Riven with her 48% winrate on firstime rivens and a 52% winrate on riven players with 200 games on her lol. She is horrible right now and still people complain, its hilarious.

meanwhile his shield's cooldown was increased with the removal of his W passive, and Riven runs with a 4 seconds cd shield

4 cd shield with 40% CDR, meanwhile yasuo only needs boots and statikk shiv which are his core items.

10% cdr masteries, 5% cdr runes, 15% item 1334

yasuo's shield absorbes less until late game and needs to travel 5900 / 5200 / 4600 units to get the shield which he won't be able to do in teamfight

You can't get 10% cdr from masteries as Riven, unless you go a lot deeper into the utility tree ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) But that'll cost u some ad from the offense tree, which is bad... Still, rivens who don't build cdr usually lose since they won't be able to spam their abilities, going for builds like item 3111 or item 3047 .

Also, Yasuo 's shield absorbs 100-510 (lvl 1 to lvl 18) damage, while Riven's only tanks 90/120/150/180/210(+100% BONUS ad), let's say she has item 3142 item 3074 item 3035 = 188 bonus ad (added runes+masteries), so her shield would tank about 210 + 188 = 398 (210 + 247 = 457 when ult is active).
