Can Ekko catch his q in front of him?
So I used to main Ekko and I stopped playing him as he is too unreliable. I got bored and decided maybe it was just me and I was missing something....so I tried him again.
What I found was the I was right the first time. He is unreliable.
But I've been messing around with a new combo. In lane, I would use my q to mark my enemy with the passive as it goes forward. If they don't immediately backoff or try sided stepping the return of my Q as it comes back, I use my e on them so that I would catch my q just about the same time I'm landing my e.
This increases the chance of landing the q on its way back. So what I'm thinking is this...
Would it be better if Ekko caught his Q about 150 range in front of him? This would help landing the q return as long as Ekko can keep his target 150 in front of him when catching it regardless of the angle it is coming back from.
So even if the Q is behind you, as long as you are 150 range while facing your target when catching it, it would hit them.
What you guys think?
