Basically 1v5.

Map: SR w/o Rift Harold, Baron Nasor, Elemental Dragons, or Elder Dragon

The 1

> Starts at max level (level 18), with 1 free item (anything from item 2003 to item 3089, even item 3042 or item 3040, but only applies to the very first item you "buy") and they cannot refund/sell it for gold or another item, has ~50% CC reduction, and can choose their champion in champ select. They do not see the other teams champions until the loading screen. Must select champion before the other team. They have TP for a Summoner Spell on a 20s CD (normal channel) for the first 20 minutes (increases to 1 minute CD afterwards). Their TP can teleport to any structure (even enemy's but only if destroyed) and any friendly unit (wards, minions, etc...). No ward limit. Minions always push harder than other side's when the 1 is not there. Half death timers

The 5

> Get random champions (with re-rolls), start normally at level 1 with 500g (the basic normal start). They each get a Summoner Spell which pings the map to the general location (not exact but within ~1000 units) of the 1 (with a 100s CD). They see the champion that the 1 is selecting during champion select. Cannot buy item 3512 or item 3060. Yorick and Soraka are disabled for this side only.

So pretty much the 1 wins every time? A Yasuo tornado pre 18 with 1 item can half health a level 1 renekton with 1/2 of a health item. They’d literally just have to pick a one item power spike champ or a decent aoe champ and win with almost no compitition. Any damage champ would win easily anyway.

The idea behind this is good you’re just overestimating how hard a 1 v 5 is

My thinking was that while in the very beginning to mid game the 1 has a massive advantage having more gold, levels and items. But they also have a lot of work to do. Clearing towers and inhibs is easy when left alone by yourself. But even with the advantage the 1 has, it can get tricky to siege vs 3-4 enemy champions who would level fairly quickly and split pushing would be a big advantage for the 5. And once the 5 start leveling up, it gets harder and harder for the 1 to win. Plus CC still would slow them down quite a bit, just not for a long time (to prevent infinite hard CC chaining).

I get that the 1 has a lot of favor going for it. But they also have a massive responsibility of both attacking and defending at the same time. Stack 4 top lane and hard split push forcing the 1 to respond by either trading objectives or defending.

Yeah I see what you meant, the idea I think is very good, the numbers in advantage of the one would have to be lowered a bit is all I mean. Like a level 18 with one full item vs 5 level 1's with no items isn't really fair at all. Just change those a bit and raise the tp cooldown and then it should be fine

Maybe start them at lvl 14 or something and make the TP a 30 second cd. I dont think taking away from the item advantage would be a good idea because of how little of a window the 1 has to work with. Having to farm for items while playing a heavy offense and defense would be way too much for the 1 I think.

Yeah the item thing was fine, and a level 14 start might be fine as well. Can't really tell without proper testing though I would like to see this Idea implemented

Agreed. This would need quite a few test runs to really hammer down balancing (or just give it to the PBE lol).
