Phreak's video made me realize just how impactful these Preseason changes are.

With all of the turret and minion changes......it honestly feels like the actual strategic gameplay is going to be far more important than anything else.
Oh, your team has a fed Zed? I'm sorry, but that doesn't mean diddily squat against that 2 cannon minion wave that is very quickly chewing through your top inner tower.
Towers, overall, are stronger against champions.....but only champions. They are CONSIDERABLY weaker against minions, and, also, waves are harder to clear. Not only that, but with how quickly minions move now (they now move faster than most champs come the 20 minute mark or so WITH upgraded boots), if you accidentally ignore a wave that's forming in a side lane, it will be at your turret, taking it down before you even realize it is there.
Now, you're probably thinking "Oh, that'll only affect pro play, solo queue won't feel this." Uh, sorry, but not this time. Solo queue will definitely feel this change probably just as much pro play will. Low elo players will have to learn real quick how to manage waves, or they will simply be overwhelmed.
People say that the game is being dumbed down. In some ways, yes, it is. But these changes in particular certainly go against that statement. You need to play smart with these changes, cause if you don't, you are going to be left in the dust.
