I'm all for removing D Ring stacking, but he will need immediate help next patch. That's the only thing that keeps him barely playable (definitely not "viable") after nerfs to manacost and Mid Year Tank Gutting.

fair enough, I say, but support alone is just not good enough.
Make some room for the big guy in the jungle. Buff his clear or his map mobility. or both. Considerably.
Suggestion: dredge line now refunds half it's mana cost if use on terrain.

Right now, he is below viable even as a support.

I personally like support Nautilus as much as toplane, but right now he is not very strong even in a good matchup, and he never gets good matchups since almost every meta support counters him. It's a bit stronger than toplane, but still very far from a viable pick.

Zero Skill Tank1 votesI didn't say that "every support counters him", but "every meta support counters him". Which just happens to be true at the moment. Most popular supports ATM are Thresh, Lulu, Karma, Janna, Nami and BC, all of which, except for Karma, happen to be very bad matchups. When mage and tank supports were meta, Naut support was weak but acceptable, but Thresh and Enchanters are terrible for Naut.
