that's not how it works

He isn't supposed to be readily itemized against, seeing as he will rarely ever get within Q range of a competent team so he needs to be able to do damage once he gets there. Other than that, build health and armor. And trust me, itemizing against him right now is a walk in the park compared to back when his passive was magic damage.

Prioritize health for sure. Warmogs would be great against him as a defensive item. Since he has a true damage ult, the hp will help you anyway. Plus since his bleed is physical damage and not magical damage now, it's easier to itemize against him.
