What Items do You Think are Useless?

For me, it's Death's Dance

It looks good on paper, but when put to the test in Summoner's Rift it is clearly overshadowed by other lifesteal items. Its flat damage is decent enough, but compared to other AD items, it pales in comparison yet again, not in stats, but the fact that other items provide a similar bonus while offering superior effects. The CDR it grants is no boon either when you consider the fact that CDR caps at 40-45% and is easily achieved with a planned combination of items. Its effect of turning damage into a bleed is an interesting enough concept, but if you were buying the item merely to survive a bit longer then Bloodthirster is a far better choice.
