So, for the most part of the season, i was hardstuck silver 3-4. Though, i finally got better at the game and winstreaked like crazy to gold and then, of course, after winning too much, the system tried to force me to lose for an even time by giving me hardly even carriable teammates, even harder to carry when i had warning(cause carry testing i guess?),

yeah so, this managed to trash my mmr good cause i lost too much at 0 lp and i started winning +12 +13 and losing -20 -21(this position is too fucking important for no reason) so yeah i still managed to recover some approximate 50% wr for a good time when i had demotion warning but yeah at one point i lost one more in a row and i demoted to silver,

i came back being really stressed (cause +13 lp gains) to gold in no time (won 2 lost 1 won 1) and then i lost 2 in a row, next game i won and won fucking +12 lp! i managed the 50% wr for a good time again but i lost one too much and demoted again (legit still had 50% wr over last 10 games) and then same thing won 2 lost 1 won 1 and back to gold (feels rigged?) and now i won 2 in a row before losing 2 for +13 +13 -20 -6, so i'm back at 0 lp and i know i will have trash mmr for rest of season now like fuck you riot i can't try hard for plat this season if your rigged system force me back in silver like this!

Yes, I'm sure you are stuck in gold with a 49% winrate and 800+ games because of riot's MMR system and not because you actually belong there.

Seriously, a few years ago this boards was like "I'm stuck in XXX rank because of my shitty team-mates!"

Now it's like "IM STUCK IN XXX RANK BECAUSE OF RIOTS POINT COUNTING SYSTEM"

I really want to emphasize, no riot's shitty system is not responsible for your rank; you are. Everyone has to deal with this system, and people climb. The only common factor in your games is you, and the faster you realize that and take responsibility for your actions; the better.

I'm probably going to get downvoted by people who think they belong in a higher rank but aren't climbing because of some external factor they cannot control and not their own skill level. Please, get in line, every season people cry about how it's not their fault they are stuck in XXX rank.

I have a crap win rate but they throw me against high play/diamond regularly now so not surprised my rank just froze

There are no rigged or forced factors that hold you back. You have already over 800 ranked games played and sub 50% winrate this season. That's an insanely large sample size to confirm you have deserved your current low MMR. Your last 60 games also average a winrate of 45%, which means you haven't shown improvement either.

I suggest instead of just mindlessly spamming more matches you should figure out how to achieve wins and maybe you can reach that platinum.

yo im not hardstuck anymore i climbed to gold fuck off and i dont trust you deserve the same rank forever else i would rage quit this game im just gonna be hardstuck a little bit more i guess until i get good enough for platinum

Look my smurf account, I made it through silver to platinum just like that, in a few games.

Do you still stubbornly believe you're ultra hardstuck in silver due to arranged matchmaking? Can't you simply accept it's your own gameplay which is the reason you can't climb?

The system isn't trying to trash you. Good players will rise the ladder, bad one's won't. You're staying in silver as long as it represents your real elo. Face it.

Older accounts cant "improve" with the way Riot does MMR

What's your point? Account's age doesn't matter, only MMR does. If you end a season with garbage MMR it will carry on to the next one. Even so, it is fixable: just keep winning and show the system you have improved.

On my main account I was silver s4, then diamond s5, master s6-7, challenger from s8... So your theory about MMR doesn't apply.

wait waaaa? account age doesn't matter dear lord did you start playing yesterday? account age almost 100% = amount of games played I can make a new account and skyrocket it to gold 1 plat 5 within what 3 4 days of playing? but as I start playing more and more the game will getter a larger pool to figure out where I should be so it starts testing by putting people of slightly higher caliber with and vs to check the game is good at doing that what it isn't good is then testing if you improved bit by bit so instead of as you get better you climb you hit walls where you get stuck and have to improve untill it reaches the point where you are playing so much better then you should at that rankthat's when you have to win streaks that jumps you in ranks and the process starts all over again

except for example my account is gaining +13 and losing 20 while your smurf may win 30 lp and lose 10 and skip divisions or promotions, try to climb on an account like mine, you will lose your mind

You would be your REAL rank if demotion protection wasn’t a thing. It skews MMR brackets and causes false belief that the people being protected deserve to stay their rank when clearly showing they shouldn’t.

Thats the #1 problem with Rank is that you are hurt by the system giving you teams that you should not be with.

You CANT win the match and so get dinged for it. Thing is that NO ONE could win that these matches.

If you go on a large winning streak and get high mmr, the system does not try and force you at a 50% winrate by giving you "trash" teamates, rather it just puts you in harder matches against higher elo players. If you fail to play well in these matches, then the system drops your mmr and tries to even it out to where it thinks you will be, and obviously, the system believes that you should not be in gold if your mmr gains are this low. The system is not rigged, if you are not outperforming in your matches your mmr will not go up, and the system believes you are underperforming which is why your mmr is bad. And if you have not managed to climb in 800 games, then the system has no reason to be giving you high lp gains and will keep you at this mmr until you start performing much better winning more, or until you drop.

The system will put you vs harder enemies AND will put trash on your team. It doubles down.

I ran a 80% by changing the lane and Champ I played when before I was hovering a 50% and the system Hard shoved me over and over instead of letting me climb.

No, the system is not supposed to be putting you with worse teammates, perhaps it might seem that way but the system does try it's hardest in order to match equally. It just might not be happening as well or as often considering matchmaking is a little fucked this season, but it is not supposed to be purposefully putting worse players on your team.

Oh That maybe the case. Riot MAY have designed it to not do that. But IT DOES. Riot programming "Logic" is as good as First year Collage interns.

Just look at the "Fixes" they have done to some champions in the last year.

Just because you have spend 3 seasons in silver doesn't mean you know how Riot's matchmaking works. All you are showing is that your emotional bias, you believe Riot is keeping you from climbing, which isn't true after seeing how you perform in silver 3 games with around 500 games played this season. I've climbed out of silver 4 times because I was finally good enough to do that after being in bronze or silver for 3 seasons before that. You just aren't good enough to climb that far yet, it has nothing to do with Riot's system...

No, its called when ur putting out an average performance for ur elo, ur gonna win some and lose some. Stop trying to read into them and realize youre at where ur skill lies, not plat. Focus on improving.

i know im not plat yet but i want to at least have a fucking chance since its my season goal but no my gains keep being stuck at +13 -20 and i keep being matched with mid-silver even if i promote back to gold in 0 time, its fucking stupid, also now i demote even if i have recent 50% win rate but end losing 1 at 0 lp while having done 10 games, its fucking stupid

My friend is silver and gold on multiple accounts for NA. He asked me if I wanted to play ranked with him while he was using one of his Silver 1 accounts. I absolutely destroyed Silver 1's and Gold 4's from my hard-stuck Bronze 2 account. He is a Master on the Korean server and keeps begging me to come over there and play, he says I could make gold easy. I do not wanna make another account tho.

But gold 4 is now old silver 1 plus gold 5... so who the f knows what rank anyone is anymore.

I did have what happened to you happen to me back in season 6 preseason and it was fucking terrible lol. I mean I don't agree it's too easy to demote a tier...... because it isn't. Its actually really hard to lose that much to demote honestly. Only reason it happened to me is It was the season of dynamic queue and I started playing with silver friends who brought my mmr down and then we went on long losing streaks. Plus since season was over and I already got rewards I picked champs I sucked with and kept losing. But yea... once your mmr trashed it really is hard to rank up again. Lucky for me next season started soon and reset my mmr so it didn't matter.

But honestly sounds like you probably shouldn't be gold or trolled too hard. Sorry not sorry. But.... I do believe this ranked system is trash and match making does suck ass soooooo you could be right.

not at all man i climbed with +17 and +19 lp i totally deserved my elo i just trashed my mmr from one bad day of playing where i kept playing and where i kinda had forgotten how i got gold in the first place. When i finally remembered, i managed to win more but it was too late cause the damage was done from ONE day of tilt. But yeah also season 8 broke the soul of the game, i so much more enjoyed the game in season 7 and i never went in crazy lose streaks like this before season 8.
