Yeah let’s QQ about Jax who actually has to try to win lane phase, meanwhile poppy smashes Q and takes no damage and pummels you into submission while outscaling you. What a fun champion design. Champions like Poppy are the reason I quit this game the first time.

Well, she doesn't outscale you, and she supposed to be stronger earlier in the game.
You just need to learn power spikes. Like, if anything, JAX is the one that outscales the shit out of people.

This idea that she doesn’t scale well is also prettt bogus. I don’t think she scales poorly but obviously she does begin to decline. Nevertheless, there’s no gameplay at all with Poppy. She smashes Q off cooldown and harasses you with ranged grasp proc. She can practically stun you anywhere in top lane.
I’m also well aware of her powerspikes, it’s that she doesn’t begin to decline until roughly 30+ minutes. And sure, she won’t solomyour ADC then but all she needs to do is be tanky and disrupt, both of which she does well. That’s honestly totally unreasonable.

There is gameplay, but there’s no need for her to use it until she decides she wants to murder you under your own tower while ignoring it.

I was actually talking vs. Nasus since you always play Nasus, but generally, Poppy doesn't scale for shit. That's why her early game is strong.

I beg to differ on that one. If she stuns you into a wall, that's your bad positioning. It's not like walls are super easy to run into in the side lanes.
She has the ranged procs on Grasp and her Q is a good bully tool into a decent amount of match-ups, but it's not like she has NO game play. Her strength outside of laning declines in strength as she transitions to a warden play style, so she needs the early game strength to get her lead because she isn't a massive dueling threat that much longer after laning unless she gets that lead.

I mean, then you're just asking for Poppy to be a complete sand bag for people to wail on during laning phase. Every champ needs either a laning phase or a late game, and Poppy's conditional cc doesn't make for an amazing late game, so she's tooled for the early game.
