Updates... WTF???

Darius , Fiora ???

They're giving Darius, a 6300 champ and a common pick a gameplay update? Seriously?

They still aren't done with Poppy , and Taric , Zilean , are much older and need updates. So what the hell are they doing updating champions that are viable as-is?

Edit: Thanks to the toxic jerks who downvote without commentary. You're the kind of person who shouldn't be on the boards.

Edit: So I'm just getting all the people who don't know how to counterpick Darius downvoting? Nice.

Being nice to us. I'm excited for Fiora's rework. Besides, they gotta mix it up. They hit Veigar, Sion, and Ashe: all low cost. Then they hit Fiora: high cost. Idk about Darius, link?

It's not about cost, it's about age. They're hitting newer champions who don't need reworks. And it's on the Champion Updates page. They're hitting Garen, Skarner, and Mordekaisr too. They actually NEED the reworks, and Poppy's been on the list since before Kassasdin's VU. But of course Gangplank was finished first.

You mentioned pricing. You were not specific, I apologize. Unfortunately, Fiora did need an update because "ultimate op, no counterplay, omg noob plz uninstall, much cancer, such crap"...and other assortments of insults were received when you played her. Us poor mains never got respect. Hoping the update fixes that, but I doubt it. No one admits getting heavily outplayed, ever. =(

Back to topic: Poppy is hard one to tackle. How would you change her? What would you give her? What's wrong with her? It's not like "1..2..3...taaa-daa" its exactly those questions. Then internal play testing, then pbe play testing (data gathering unnoted perhaps, but tested). If it comes off to strong in internal, you gotta swap the numbers. If that doesn't work you gotta kill it. If the kit doesn't match the theme, you gotta kill it. So on so forth. Imo, garen is fine. Same on Mordekaiser. Skarner, idk because I don't play him.

The issue is that they've completed several other reworks before finishing Poppy despite the fact she's been on the list.

Poppy is a full re-launch while these are just gameplay.

Them working on this has no effect on the time it take to work on Poppy.

So you're saying there's a separate champion update team for Poppy and everyone else? Glad to hear it.

Well yes... http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/VoQZ4NHy-meddler-will-the-darius-and-garen-rework-come-out-as-the-same-patch-as-skarner-one-next-week?comment=0001000c0000

The poppy project is bigger than these 4 and it's being worked on by a different part of the champ update team. These won't slow her down.

Oh and before you ask, Taric is being worked on by another team as well. They got most of his kit done and are now working on a new model and effects. They said that if all goes well, he should be ready before or during pre-season.

Well, I'll be damned. Thanks for being reasonable.

I'll explain another thing: Most of us know this already. Every time they release or announced a rework champ, there is always people who post "OMG why aren't you working on this champ instead" that don't know that they work on multiple champs at the same time or forget to read the FAQ's of the support page that explains the multiple teams.

**THAT **is why we downvote. Not because of what you are saying, but because you didn't have all the information that be posted and explained many times.

It'd be pretty hard not to know they work on multiple champs considering they have more than one on the update page.

That said, even if a few different people are working on Poppy and not the others, that's still manpower that they aren't using on completing a project that's been on the "upcoming updates" page for almost a year.
