RIOT, please here me out. (Warning: Rant)

Pre-reading note - typed this as it came to mind, no rough draft, no proof read.

I've played this game since S2 and I still love it. Every now and then I take a break. I've taken a year long break before and have come back to the game I loved.

My last break was only about 1 - 2 months. I recently started playing again last week and I've come back to so many drastic champion changes it's ridiculous. Nerfs, nerfs, reworks, buffs, nerfs, item changes, kit changes, passive changes, nerfs, scaling changes, jungle changes, minion changes, tower changes, nerfs. Champions that were perfectly fine with no complaints made about them and ok pick rate have been "tuned" for reasons I don't understand.

I missed a year on deployment in mid S4 - mid S5 (I think) and was able to jump right back into the game.

But I come back a month or 2 later and I need to read every patch note to even understand what the hell is going on?

I don't care how bad the state of the game is, you have to let people enjoy it for at least half of year. You're treating this seasoned game like it's in beta phase again. The loyal people will remain loyal (I'm not going anywhere any time soon), but this rate at which you're changing the game can't be healthy for casual players.

At it's roots, League of Legends remains the same A.R.T.S. M.O.B.A. that it is, but it feels way too different from the game I fell in love with in S2 on a Riven free week.

I don't know the team members or the history, but I feel like the original creative minds are absent and development has switched to an entirely new team of "innovative" minds pushing this game into bad territory.

TLDR; slow down. The constant changing state of this game and the meta are in chaos. I need some stability in my League life.
