Proof that the game is dying as a result of bad decisions on na

So i used snapshots of op.gg on wayback machine to see the number of players on the rift around the same date each year starting from 2016 cause the statistic wasnt available before.

2016 : 1 182 859 2017 : 1 123 353 2018 : 1 070 376 2019: 649 654

as you can see the results are pretty alarming considering that the game lost 39% of his players in one year, 2 more bad seasons and the game might be dead if nothing is done to fix the mess that happened in season 8 and 9.

That's only ranked statistics for NA, which with the huge changes they made to ranked with adding positional ranks and the early bugs they had with lp gain, it's not surprising at all less people have played their placement matches. You're pulling conclusions without looking at the full picture. We've also had urf for what, like 2 months now? More casual players are probably still soaking in urf while they can, taking away from people who would be playing ranked.

Use the wayback machine and check end of season statistics, then you might actually have something of substance.

well maybe but ive noticed the game quality really lowered this season, probably as a result of less players

Not to mention this game has kinda planed in terms of getting newer players to join. The less people playing could be people who have jobs or something that cant play atm. Food for the thought.

I specifically waited to play ranked with the new system. I knew something was going to be messed up because they couldnt get it right in preseason. Sure enough I was right with the ranked resets a few days ago. Is anyone 100% it’s fixed now?

Just because less players might be playing the game doesn't mean that the company isn't still profitable.

It could take years of bad balancing to actually kill the game.

they should stop deleting champions and severely changing shit constantly.

That's only NA and does not match up with Global statistics. Globally, 2018 brought concurrent users up to 80 mil per month from 67 mil in 2017.
