Riot has this odd hardon for botlane and they don't want to completely gut it. Remember, botlane is basically the deciding factor in the game.

Remember that there is also going to be a nerf to Aftershock come 8.2. Look at the keystones of these two - Ali is only good with AS and Guardian, meaning he'll get hit some from the nerfs there. Meanwhile, Blitz is good with Aftershock, but even better with Guardian or Glacial Augment.

blitz has for a really long time, he's been like the second or third best supp behind janna/leona for an entire season now. absurd kit that wins games by itself.

Umm wow you have no clue what your talking about .... alistar CDs are high af even with 40%cdr . Leona are not . Leo with transcedence and ultimate hat can literally ult every 20 sec also I made a pretty decent AP bruiser build on her using mind you the only AP item I built was nashors tooth and I reached over 200 AP off of that item alone .
