Why can Sion get CCed out of his Q again?

While Taric has a multidirectional AOE moving stun that can't get interrupted. I think it's just dumb how Sion's Q just completely cancels out and doesn't at least just fire early.

cause it does more damage over time unlike a taric. Its the same with nunu r or fid drain. The longer you cast the more damage it does.

But if you cc nunu his ult still goes off o.o

because its twice the width and a quarter of the length longer? Not to mention comparing one ability in a vacuum with another makes you look stupid. Karthus ult is global but annie's ult isn't? hows that fair rito?!!?

Sion's q is a channel skill that can be used at any point of its charge up. Taric's stun has a delay and no channel time that has a smaller width, but a similar length.

You know when it's coming with taric while sion is unpredictable.

Because Sion has a lot of counterplay.

First off, while CCing Taric doesn't stop his stun, it does make it VERY easy to dodge considering its long delay. With Sion, if you see the CC coming, you can reactivate to release the charge early and still at least deal your reduced damage and slow. Don't compare Sion's Q with Taric's E. With Sion, if you're good enough as him, you can hit the Q 100% of the time, even with CC, because you can predict the CC and fire the ability early. As Taric has a set delay on his E, if he gets even a small slow on him, or the enemy has tier 1 or 2 boots while he doesn't, it becomes beyond easy to dodge. Charging your Q and see Taric charging up his stun? Release the Q early and walk out of it. Simple.
