Ok. So. You understanding what I'm talking about
-
trinity force is generally bruiser item, and has literally no bearing on what I'm talking about
-
if you are winning so easily and so consistently against a true tank assassin (ie ekko, akali, fizz, and perhaps yasuo) that is because the player is just bad with the champ and only using it because it's the flavor of the month. You're also in diamond, perhaps the meta is different up there. I'm currently mid gold, and it's a huge issue.
-
tank fizz just got a nerf, so let's not use that in this discussion. Also, fizz generally went hybrid with a lichbane and sometimes 1 other damage item, making him fit the bruiser role much more than the tank role that these tank assassins fill
-
Not sure why you are mentioning the mid lane meta, as the tank assassins almost exclusively go top lane. And either way, the tank assassin issue has absolutely no bearing on mages like viktor, cassio, and the others you've listed, it's assassins...hence the name...

Why would you mention nasus in this at all? He literally has nothing in his kit that would allow any sane person to consider him an assassin. He is a tank/bruiser (depending on build). His absurd "burst" is due to his uniquely scaling q damage, not his base damage. And in this same vein, it is these base damages, along with % hp of the target scaling, that constitutes virtually the entirety of the problem. If a champ has high base damage, or deals damage based on a % of the targets current, max, or missing hp, you don't need to build damage items on that champion.
Let's also think about how this jinx story would go down with virtually any other class of champion
Tank: would be able to sit and soak up jinx's damage for a while, but then the 1v1 might be problematic due to lack of damage. Obviously some tanks would fair better than others, but a pure tank like nautilus or a maokai might struggle to kill a fed and properly built jinx (which our jinx was) in a 1v1 scenario.
Bruiser: while a bruiser might be able to deal with jinx's damage output for a little bit, taking 4 or 5 autos from her will not end well for them. In a 1v1 scenario, yes the advantage would be with the bruiser, but if you consider that the bruiser would be at half health or less for such a fight after tanking 4 or 5 autos, the fight would very likely come down to whether or not the jinx managed to crit.
This akali tanked like a tank, and had a crapload more burst damage than your average bruiser. The jinx situation was just the most notable example, there were lots of others where she would haphazardly jump into a fight straight through our frontline and destroy our damage dealers while soaking up dps from 4 or 5 people simultaneously. It's not that we played poorly against her, she offered us 0 opportunities for counterplay. Obviously she's very peelable, but she would jump in, get cced, survive, and keep jumping til she got to her target. And her damage was so high that once she got there, there was literally nothing we could do to keep that target alive. That's the problem here: tank survivability with assassin-esque damage.
