Why is the rage over Ritos stance on Sanbox mode simmering down?
Cmon people this is the most ridiculous excuse for something the game quite literally needs.
How about a poll:

Because Riot backed down from it. It's still not a priority, but it's not "never getting it" anymore.
People dont really care that much about a sandbox. It was just a herd based complaint session that occurs whenever riot does anything nothing more. The game doesnt literally need it. Some people just want it. that's actually what most of the complaints riot is getting are classified under.

after playing for almost 2 years, theres still A ton of small things Id like to figure out, but it takes 20-40 minutes of trying to manage 3 lanes of minions to figure out each of them, gave up trying and accept that some things ill never know until sandbox mode exists.
you dont wana say its needed but you cant deny its value and how beneficial it would be.
we can debate about whats needed and wanted but in the end, some things should just be, sandbox is one of them.

Yeah it would be great to have. I know the struggle of having to farm soemthing for 30 minutes just to learn one simple thing. But I rarely ever have anything I need to learn from a custom. Most of the learning from league is just gonna come from pvp anyway. Let's say I test an interaction and think its great. Then realize that in actual game application it sucks. Well cool I tested it but it didnt help me anyway.
What do you need to still figure out that only a sandbox can tell you?
Custom games don't exist anymore or what?
I would love a sandbox mode. Why wouldnt they give more to a game, especially something so helpful? "We dont want players to think they need it to improve" isnt a reason not to have an optional mode to HELP PLAYERS IMPROVE. I'd rather them just say that they think the custom game mode is enough, that they dont see the need to also have a sandbox mode. That I can understand.
