If a zed is roaming bot lane and your mid laner pings it (and actually tells you which lane...)

Seriously back the hell off your tower and trade bot tower damage for mid tower damage and and xp lead.

I don't understand how literally every bot lane I ever get just feeds double kill after double kill to any Zed I play against. I ping him before he even leaves the lane, ping him again on the way down. Doesn't matter though, first time I base for mana he goes bot and gets a double kill. Any time after that he goes bot and I can't follow because he has a lead being 2/0/0 and he just racks up the kills.

Then most of the time the bot lane has the audacity to ask if I'm ever going to do anything. Ya, do my damnedest to not die to the 9/0/0 Zed when I'm sitting at 0/0/2 still...

So true. I pinged my bot lane IN THIER LANE and they both died and said "REPORT MID LANE" (good luck with this report btw) and blame me all game. Insane

Getting kills with Zed is just too easy. No skill involved, just a damage oneshot meta.

Lol, i just had a game like that today where both adc and support had shutdown gold and i pinged zed coming to their lane BEFORE he has even left my lane completely.

Zed came back to my lane with a full duskblade thanks to both of them giving him 500+ gold each

Bruh , Bot lane is allways full of idiots. Either your ADC or your Supp that wanted to go mid or the enemies . Bot lane is in a kind of idiotic balance and like if Zed comes , the enemy bot just get brain boosted. -If you wanna make a change , do it yourself! - Every generic campaign motto

Malzahar vs. Fizz. Fizz knows he can't outpush me but I can't push either since he can just outright jump on me and ult a kill, so he goes roam.

I ping bot lane 7 times with each ping dragging from mid to river to bot, bot lane doesn't give a shit, fizz gets his kills and does the Fizz things the rest of the game. Which is to say, snowball.

The game can be summarized the following way: whichever bot lane doesn't shit the bed wins their team the game.

It's virtually all bot lane and jungler.

I was a Garen against Nasus, couldn't freeze wave on Nasus so he farmed out and by lv6 onwards I either couldn't kill him or he could just Wither disengage and heal back to full off minions faster than my passive ever would.

I didn't feed him directly, but by being forced to roam he farmed out even faster. Which wasn't a bad thing, because while he farmed I pressured mid and river and once Nasus had to leave top lane because our bot lane was winning and I was helping mid, I could just play the split push game to get back up.

Nasus could 1v4 the team if I wasn't there to silence him, but my support, jg, and mid and even the camp farming <Removed by Moderation> yasuo didn't crap the bed and played the bait game while I took turrets. No one but Nasus could duel my Garen so they had to choose between Nasus stopping me and leaving the rest of their team to lose the teamfight, or try to wipe my team with the nasus and take objectives faster than I could.

In essence, because I had a winning bot lane, I won. Not because I won my lane.

How about just don't fall behind in lane and push harder, so he can't roam? Maybe you should be exerting more pressure to stop him, or follow him when he roams, because he's not as mobile as you think, nor will he just keep spamming w to get to bot lane any quicker than you, all you're saying is i'm csing in lane better than him and thats all i can or need to do, which is naive and a low level player train of thought, or better yet why are you picking champions that get stomped by zed in lane to the point you have to use all your mana to push, or waste it on trading, but then again you aren't even trading properly if he can still roam and can't even follow him when he's roaming...

and you can't say that it's because you get counter picked, no you can simply anticipate it, nor is it even possible that every single game you've played against zed you had to pick first, thats more bs than saying you deserve to be challenger.

You remember when it was around season 4 (assassin meta) and the assassin rework, ADC players were regarded having the lowest awareness levels out of all positions, then they complained so hard that they got the broken rework they wanted so they can ignore pings and kill the assassin who roamed bot?

They also just refuse to buy pink wards for no reason. Can't they just ward like all the other players of other positions?

Yeh and then when you back off from your turret you see the midlaner recalling while the wave crashes mid-lane. Most midlaners don't even follow zed and leave their botlane open. You could turn a 2v3 into a 3v3. Shoving turret with bare damage is not going to overcome a 3 man push on botlane. This analogy is dumb.

Follow your lane. It's so easy to call SS then see your TEAMmates die and be like muh i pinged. Either you take down his turret that exact moment, and I'll live with it, or you follow your lane.

JackMcSnipeyz1/28/2019, 7:48:10 AM1 votes

Are you also the type of player to type "lol gg adc difference" because your adc had to back off turret constantly, lose farm and xp because the enemy midlaner knew how to create pressure?

ZaFishbone1/28/2019, 9:18:16 AM1 votes

The truth of being a midlaner: if you want to secure a win you have to do at least two of the following three:

  • win lane HARD
  • take first turret super fast
  • perform 1 million roams that get something for your team.

So if the opponent zed is ganking bot you have 2 options:

  • push lane and chunk his tower
  • go after him and counter-roam

Sorry, but in this damage meta, and with the average skill level and attention spam of a typical Solo Queue player, hoping that your bot is going to play safe and smart and you can just safely farm in mid in the meantime is just not going to work.

Don't rely on your team doing the sensible thing. The only person you can trust to play well is yourself.

Yeah this only works when your mid lane, who pinged, kudos, also pushes the lane in. What normally happens is your mid will spam ping the enemy is missing, and then freeze the lane under their own turret, or in the middle of the lane.

So really, if your opponent is roaming and you're not going to follow, ping... AND PUSH.

Flashes1/28/2019, 5:18:31 PM1 votes

For me it's the complete opposite. There will be a Zed missing from midlane, and the midlaner won't ping it until he's already popped his ult and I've wasted Flash and Heal saving my ass.
