ADCs - question about summoners?
As a support main, I often wonder why the ADCs stopped taking Ignite and seem to opt for heal instead.
Personally I go TP/Flash when I ADC, but so many missed opportunities when one of us doesn't have ignite.

Astôlfo1 votesBecause Flash is important for both ADC/supports. Exhaust is good for shutting down assassins and slowing down targets for both peel and closing in as well as reducing their damage. Hence, supports taking that.
Heal helps survive said ganks or bad situations as well as getting the movement speed buff for securing a kill or running away. Ignite is single target and mostly just for securing kills.
Pozezt1 votesIf I remember correctly, heal became meta over ignite back when heal got a movespeed bonus on use. I don't remember if the heal numbers got changed but they may have done.
I think this was also around the time of the assassin meta. So, heal was used to bait people using spells summoners, but also to be able to survive burst damage and then run away.
