I'm referring to his AP/AD ratios. The actual "scalings" on his abilities.
Ok. Well, I'm not talking about them, because they aren't relevant to how Nasus scales throughout the game. He scales mostly independently of his AD/AP ratios, so I'm not going to spend time talking about them in a discussion of how Nasus scales.
That's not what people talk about when they talk about scaling. AD/AP scaling isn't the only way a champion scales, and the guy you first responded to wasn't talking about his AD/AP scaling, he was talking about Nasus's overall scaling. We're talking about champion scaling, not AD/AP scaling. Nasus gets more damage from CDR than the vast majority of other champions, because of the damage he gets on his Q. He also scales well because he gets so much utility on his W. These are the relevant aspects of his scaling, not AD/AP ratios. No one discusses that as a factor of how Nasus scales, so I don't see the point in focusing on it here.
And yeah, you can bully Nasus, but that's not part of the point being argued. I'm not debating that with you. I'm talking about the scaling Nasus has. Yes, he can be shut down, but so can anyone. Riven will be useless and won't scale if she gets denied hard enough that she can't farm. Same with Nasus. Same with Syndra. Same with any laner. Not worth discussing any further than that.
What I mean by faster is the rate that his abilities are increasing in damage which, in all honesty, they aren't.
But that isn't the only way Nasus scales. He scales great into the midgame because he can get a good amount of damage while having a lot of utility and being very tanky. That's the more important factor in his scaling. Damage is not the only factor in a champion.
But don't try and say that a Nasus can do that in every single match like it's nothing
I'm not trying to say that. It's not part of my intended message. It's not a discussion I'm even remotely interesting in having. What I am saying is what Nasus can do in an average range of games. I can expect a certain number of stacks, a certain performance, etc, and discuss his scaling based on that. Now, obviously I can recognize that he will lose lane sometimes and get stupidly fed sometimes. That's not important to the discussion of his scaling, that's a discussion of his counterplay or his general balance state. Neither is something I'm interesting in talking about right now, and neither is necessary to discuss his scaling.
His scalings remain the same going into the late game.
That's a unimportant statement. Scaling numbers are always the same throughout a game except on a few champions who get variable AD/AP ratios. It's irrelevant to this discussion.
