What determines ranked status in League of Legends!? Well your MMR determines that, which is based off of how much you win and how often you win. Meaning all those times you had someone troll, disconnect, rage quit, go toxic and sabatage the game, or do anything that screws you over. Your MMR gets affected by that. Sure some say, "if you do good and still have good stats in-game then you'll be fine" Well tell me kind sir, if I ADC and my support is trolling me, picks a troll champ, quits or DC's and Im stuck all alone, get tower dived because adc's are squishy and lose my lane. How is that my fault?

If I go top as yasuo and someone in our party doesn't speak a word the entire chat and just decides to go top too and force you out, and your forced to play your counter in mid, and then the top troll disconnects for half the game and you get focused, camped, and tower dived the entire time. How is that your fault.

When terrible people do terrible things, that will always have an effect on your stats.

It's more like 2 parts luck and 8 parts strategy/mechanics. Ranked is a bit of a grind - you have to play good games to counter the ones where you had bad teammates. If you play enough games, odds are you'll play just as many with trolls on your team as trolls on the enemy team - it's just harder to notice on the enemy team.

no its not, Personally I perform highly in each match, I love team work, I love when a team comes together but it almost never does ever. Your success largely depends on getting lucky enough to have teamwork orientated teammates

Bronze and bot games are the two places where 1v5 carrying is entirely possible.

I'm not and have never been in bronze.

When I duo with one of my friends who is, people are just jumping into my mouth. I got fed as blitzcrank, because people never tried to dodge my pulls.

and prove to me that you did 1v5? If so then you obviously were ridiculousy fed by either a troll or noob. That doesn't show or mean anything at all.

your once in 100 game experience does not dictate the average rate of performance of all others.

Now one person can carry an entire match for sure, but they have a supporting team usually behind them, or at least in the way as fodder so that they can carry.

When I go 11/1 with quin and 11/2 as yasuo in my matches, its because I got early fed and my team supported and helped me throughout the match.

Now if you get early fed but your missing 2 people from your team?? Your not going to win 95% of the time

If I can 1v5 a team of people who are better than bronze with bronze people on my team, I can also 1v5 a team of bronze people.

And sometimes low silver and bronze are the same thing.

I've carried 4v5 plat games where our ADC disconnected lvl 1. and our support was Sona.

You don't understand or grasp how bad bronze players are, you can't order them around like you do in plat. You have to be able to 1v5 and win....

theres a reason ppl call plat "shinier silver". ppl here think they're amazing because they're close to diamond so they are the #1 hard carry doublelift mechanics shotcaller being held back by trash scrubs like me. trying to order plat players around? result won't be good.

I don't understand why people don't discuss the issue and try to resolve it. There are problems, no system is perfect. Improvements can be made. But no one cares enough to try.

Sure the system has problems but its still functional and working as intended. Shitty players fall into bronze and good players climb. Im not saying matchmaking doesnt have an element of luck (getting an afk on your team vs enemy getting an afk ect.)

However, if you really want to prove that you deserve to be out of bronze then get a fresh account to level 30 and do your 10 provisionals. If you still manage to fall back into bronze then you should just admit that you suck dicker donk at League of Legends.

Lose all the things I personalized like skins and event rewards. Thats the only thing I have to show for the time I put into league. Why would I get rid of all of that and waste tons and tons of time grinding and playing with noobs?

How bout you play against me or on the same team 10 provisional times. Then you can decide if im good or not.

Hey you can either enjoy your stay in bronze with the mindset of a player who doesn't suck, or you can make an attempt to prove that you dont on a fresh account.

The choice lies with you, and it appears you would rather make excuses than make an attempt.

Except I dont give a rats ass about your rank. Im just tired of bronzers who think they are the best shit ever, yet dont want to take steps to prove themselves and would rather resort to the forums as a way to seek acceptance from other bronzers in the same situation.

that's what I did when I got mad at losing due to shit teammates. I played normals only and messed around with builds like AD Ekko.

Thats the things, there is no point to playing normal. Why play normal, it means nothing. Theres no reward, no progression, nothing. Wouldn't you like the game a hundred times more if there were interesting campaigns, goals, quests, stories you could play out in game. Wouldn't that be alot more fun, even if you were still screwing around in normal?

Thats exactly right, I love the game but I rarely have fun anymore.

I play right now because its the only thing I have available.

I love the game and I want to keep playing but there are problems, you can't say its perfect because its not. All I want to do is help problems get fixed.

I want to keep playing but right now I am not having fun with League of Legends thats the point.

If someone has the mmr of a bronze player and hasn't been higher but players at a higher level of play than his MMR, he should be moving up according to the system, but the problem is he doesn't know how to carry (because he is bronze) nor does he have the knowledge to carry THE WHOLE ENTIRE TEAM EVERY GAME.

Someone shouldn't have to be a plat smurf to get out of bronze, thats just ridiculous... you really need to be 5x better than the average bronze player in order to get out, its a shitty system.

Point is NONE of you have been in bronze 5v5 fro a long period of time, how can you have any kind of perspective of where i'm coming from and give any kind critism when you yourselves are not experiencing bronze hell.

I agree. People in Gold 3+ will likely disagree or say "But the enemy team could have trolls, too." To which I say, "That still doesn't make the game fair. No team should be held back because of one or 2 people.

I hate how the poor performance of others, the bad behavior, and habits have an effect in your "skill" or "rating" in league of legends.

I can say 100% that this is a problem because of AFK's, Disconnects, and trolls. I've seen this problem no matter what mmr / rank you have, bronze - diamond all have this problem. There isn't a single person at riot that actually cares to be brutally honest, They just think "resources are better spent elsewhere" because "if you're in that mmr you deserve it". And while there is some truth to it, we have to be 3x better than anyone in our league to get promoted out of it or even climb a bit because of how often we get trolls / afks / disconnects!

Theres no LP refund system, no way of making back that LP you lost from a troll and no way you'll be able to hit the next league because of promotion series! Remove the promo series and fix how we dictate our MMR when affected by trolls / afks / disconnects and maybe we'll be good!

I'd be in Silver 3 if it weren't for the conditions listed above, and Im not the minority. How many veteran players are in bronze??? Tons, they have 100 plus matches.

Your the minority. Everyone posting negativity here are not in bronze or haven't been in bronze for a long period of time.

Lol, Tell me how you can know the existing problems within a part of a game WITHOUT playing that part of game. I've been there and done that, you haven't.

This isn't a bubble getting burst, this is a bunch of Above Bronze players trying to tell me how bronze works when they haven't been in bronze before. Don't you think a QA tester will know the problems in the area's he's playing in and not some random jackass that comes out of nowhere, saying they know, but has never done it?

To get higher in league you have to

-get lucky in bronze -get lucky and get placed in silver -GRIND HUNDREDS OF HOURS -get lucky not gettings trolls -get lucky not getting noobs -get lucky not getting a bad connection or someone on your team not having a bad connection -So basically Riot is demanding that you play hundreds and hundreds of hours religiously to have any form of accomplishment, even though there are players that still put in tons of time, but have real life stuff to attend to.

I don't have time to put 8 hours in a game, I have 2 jobs, and school coming up. I have time for maybe 2 hours a night maybe 3. But that still is a 14 hours a week at the low.

Excuses are why your in bronze. If you just admit your not that good at the game and try to improve then you can get out. But yiu won't. Been there done that. It's easy to get out of bronze.

Your playing the troll, toxic, easy route. Your playing the "get over it". You don't realize nor are you able to see the faults in league of legends.

Lets put it in baby terms for ya. If I work at a company, and everything I do there is recorded. I have to do good to make money. But all of my stats are based off 4 other random people. These people aren't trained, aren't experienced, are exconvicts, have huge criminal histories, or are in serious anger management course.

Your money making ability completely depends on 4 random other workers. Doesn't matter if your paired with 1 trainee, 2 angermanagment pyschos, and a exconvict. You still get graded based off your results together. Then your mixed up and put into it again for the next remaining weeks until you someone make up a good resume to move up the corperate ladder.

Tell me if this was real and it was your job, would it make ANY SENSE AT ALL! It wouldn't and you know it.

Keep playing the ignorant, naive angle, because it makes no sense at all.
