My Gnar Lore
I wanted to have a go at doing my own lore for Gnar.
This was done as a bit of fun on my idea on how Gnar was discovered and how he ended up in the league.
Sorry in advance for any spelling mistakes, and I hope you enjoy the read, and please give feedback of what you thought.
Ezreal Journal Day 46
We have made progress on excavating through the ice, there is defiantly something trapped in there but what? and for how long?
Unfortunately we have made our way through all the normal ice and have now come up against true ice, this could be a challenge.
Ezreal Journal Day 50
Using my knowledge of true ice that I gathered during my time in the league I am going to attempt to work through the true ice, I know it won't be an easy task but something is driving me to find out what lies within.
Ezreal Journal Day 64
It's been two weeks since we started to attempt to break the true ice, with some success, cracks are beginning to form, this is hopefully a good sign that we could make are way through the ice soon.
On a side not, some of the workers have been saying they are hearing roars and echoes coming from the ice, I assured them it was there imagination and they are just stressed.
Ezreal Journal Day 65
At midnight last night while everyone was asleep, it broke free, apparently a beast of mega size was still alive in the ice, how this is possible I don't know but it broke free and attacked us, in all my years in the league with void creatures, I have never seen anything as big as this it was mega, it broke out of the ice and made it's way through the cave, smashing and destroying everything as it went, there was no chance to stop it, I ordered the workers to let it go and take care of the injured, I have sent a message to the Summoners to inform them of this creature and hopefully will receive a reply soon.
Ezreal Journal Day 66
We woke this Morning to the sound of annoying screams and babble, which to our surprise was coming from a pre-historic yordle, we believe that it must of been frozen in the ice with beast previously mentioned.
The yordle which seems to be only able to say one eligible word "Gnar" is rather friendly and welcoming, I don't think it even knows that it was frozen for all those years, I believe it is just being playful and wondering about the people and places around him, I hope that we will be able to communicate with him at some point in the near future.
It appears that the yordle who we have taken to calling "Gnar" has gotten some sort of bone boomerang out of the ice, this leads me to think he was some sort of ancient hunter that was hunting the beast and they both got frozen in the ice somehow.
Ezreal Journal Day 73
It has been a week now since we meant "Gnar" and we have made no progress with verbal communication, we have tried other methods as well but beside a few drawing we have not made much progress, on the other hand he has taken to be smitten with the workers and I think everyone has fallen for his charms.
Unfortunately however I have received a reply from the Summoners and I must return to the league to give a in person report on the beast that also came from the ice, I plan to take "Gnar" with me and see if the Summoners are able to make a link with him and hopefully lead to mental communication of some sort.
Ezreal Journal Day 74
I have finalised packing before me and "Gnar" depart for the League, I have put my number 2 in full command till I return, I hope that the Summoners are able to link with "Gnar" there is something about him that tells me that there is more than meets the eye, but what is it? hopefully we will find out when we make it to the league, and hopefully we will unlock the secrets of this pre-historic yordle...
