AP Itemization is the worst its ever been, almost all AP items got nerfed (Price increased, stats decreased or both; And no, not all items had their cost increased item 3115 , just the ones that pure AP champions use item 3165 item 3157 )

AP itemization is so bad that AP characters are being pigeon holed into using item 3092 ... but soon that's going to be gutted. The problem is not that item 3092 is overpowered but rather that the alternatives are so terrible that item 3092 is the best by default. Or to paraphrase an old Mel Brooks movie;

You forced us to live in the crap and now you want to take the crap away ?

Give us some good AP itemization options Riot. It's not unreasonable to want items on par with what the other champion types are able to get for a reasonable cost. You took away mana potions, you nerfed mana regen items and you don't seem to want to give us anything in return. I urge you to reconsider your attitude towards a whole myriad of your champions. AP characters are suffering and want your help.

Don't forget about them.

I dont even know where to start with this shit.. You and everyone else are fricken nuts. Alls i hear on the boards are "tanks are about as squishy as an assassin and whats the point of stacking armor and hp im like paper" or "assassins are too strong, 1 shot op not balanced" Yet not only are tanks strong as hell, but so are mages. http://champion.gg/statistics/#?roleSort=Middle&sortBy=general.winPercent&order=descend They literally flood the mid lane with high winrates...

Yes and surely you realize that one of the main reasons for mid APs having success is item 3092 which is going to get nerfed which was my point entirely. Do you not understand?

In fact, look at the very link you yourself have provided... the first FIVE characters are characters that routinely purchase item 3092 , did you even check ? come on man

It def helps, but its not required to be successful, i mean have you seen how strong RoA is rite now?

Edit: what list are you looking at cuz the first 5 dont all use item 3092

RoA is hardly a blip on the radar compared to item 3092

In Plat/Diamond brackets, it's not uncommon to see 4 of those in a single game.... even on champs like Blitz and Braum.

fighter/tanks like volibear mundo have the most oppresive winrates in the game ranging from 54 and then there is nidalee sitting at 40 percent win rate

that winrate was partly due to the fact she was free that week so all the bronze 5 rivin mains are like "oh dang nidalee's so good if faker can do it i can do it i deserve challenger anyway. picks nidalee mid, misses every spear, goes 0 and 6 JUNGLER WHY DIDNT YOU GANK FOR ME" but ya nidalee is one of the best midlaners in the game and now shes more viable in the jungle becuase her damage got buffed against monsters

You're high is you think people are playing item 3092 Mid because everything else sucks. You couldn't be more wrong. People are playing it because it's cheap mana regen, solid ap for the price, and comes with A FREE, POTENT, NO TARGETING NEEDED SLOW. I swear it's like you're not even playing the same game, mid lane mages are just as strong as ever. The changes did nothing to hurt their performance. If anything Thunderlords Decree and Deathfire touch made them stronger than they were before, just look at how scary Brand Ahri Annie and many others are right now.

Also, do some research before you QQ. Immobile mages are up soon for updates.

Definitely not your point. You claim that everyone is choosing frost queen because all the AP items suck, which is not true. They are choosing it because it's a good option, not because every other AP item is bad.

The main thing that should happen with AP itemization isn't really a buff to the stats of current items, but more an increase in item diversity, There are a lot of cases where having items with more varied stat combinations would be a real benefit, like having a CDR item that doesn't come with mana, or having an armor item that does.

This "crap" gave AP mages quite a bit of gold at the cost of a few measly stats though, which is why it's being nerfed.

I've said nidalee is overpowered for some time... don't care what people say. Spells cost nothing, do insane damage she has great range and insane healing with super high mobility ...

In other words she has the best of everything and doesn't have to pay much of anything for it. I'd just smack her numbers.

morrelenomicon got a price increase because ITS REALLY REALLY GOOD. the grevious wounds is so strong against midlaners like vlad ekko and alot of the juggernauts like ilaoi and darius lol adc uses heal does nothing

That's simply not the case. FQC is extremely strong and the other AP items are just fine. Zhonya's got nerfed because the active is game-changing and RoA is just better now. Items for all classes except tanks got a price hike because you get more gold in S6. Mages are definitely meta right now. Nobody plays Yasuo or Talon and Zed's rarely seen. Ryze, Lulu, Ahri, Anivia, Lux, and Brand are dominating right now.
