As a support main - NOOOOOPE. (get my primary ~95% of the time as-is with near-instant queues anyways).

That said - if you ask your teammates nicely they can agree to swap lane positions with you. Just because matchmaking pits you as, say, mid-lane doesn't mean you're locked into mid lane. If you really want to top you can ask your top-lane bro "yo, could I top this game?" and then if they say yes - you can flip matchmaking the bird and go top lane like a baws, you're icon showing in mid-lane be darned.

I don't rely on a single role so this only effects me in a negative way.....

Queue times would not triple for anyone except maybe the people who choose support as their secondary but wouldn't choose it as their primary.

Of the 8 ranked games I've played so far I've gotten Mid 7 times. Just shut up and play.

Not really. They already made it easier to get your primary role so it'll be pushing our luck. Besides, we should be responsible to at least be able to cover two roles. (You could just play a champ viable in multiple roles like Yasuo, volibear, Shen, etc)

It could actually be an option: Those who want shorter queue could choose to have a secondary role but those who prefer a single role should have the option to choose only one role and wait longer.

Personally I hate this queue forcing to play a role i dont want. I come back from work tired and the last thing I want is to play a Casino game on whether I will play the role I like or whether I will be forced to do something i dont want. I think its ridiculous.

That sounds reasonable.
