Because riot loves the ADC role and believes they need to be the "hard carry"... as if you couldn't tell since season 1

Why is it that Graves' dash increases his attack speed? Vayne's dash only increases the damage of her next autoattack!

because with enough attack speed the time the roll takes is longer than just standing and attacking unless she rolls directly into a wall, which she generally wants you to be standing by not her.

If your using it as an AA reset your doing it wrong.
