Onotori5 votesThe funny thing is... they do. 3 of those have lifesteal on them (making you a drain tank god), and the other three make it so you don't actually die to the mage combo. So when Liss ults herself, you just stand there and kill her when she comes out.
And I'd love for you to play Liss and let any AD champ hit you, then tell me how "off-tanky" you feel when half your health is gone in one auto / ability.

Do you ever playing as liss? Probably not cause everything you write about her is nonsense. The one off-tank item is zhonya, which is situational and it does't matter with that she can cast ult on herself cause when ult ends adc will kill her for 3 hits. /edit Hexdrinker isn't hight impact? xD What are u talking about? Item for 1300 gold with 35 magic resist and shield which absorbs 100 (+10 x level) is balanced? This item makes ad champs unbeatable.

So, I lose the kill I should have, by all rights, gotten, and since most mage ults have a CD of ~80-100s early game, their Maw is up again next time I can combo them, and I'm entirely unable to kill them on my own since they bought one item.
Now doesn't that seem a little bit... broken?

Do you tower dive an Anivia when she has her egg? Of course not, it’s suicide. You treat a high impact defensive item the same way.
It doesn’t take much to proc the shield, and as nearly every mage has some form of poke, you can proc it without committing to an engage. Then, when the shield is gone in the next few seconds, that’s when you use your ult and engage on them.

And I don't really think it's fair for a "high impact defensive item" (that has very high offensive stats at the same time) should cost so little. Hexdrinker is 1300g for that shield, and then Maw makes it a god tier offensive item that at the same time makes you into an anti-mage tank.

If they’ve backed off, congrats! You have free control over the lane. Push it in to get tower damage, invade the enemy jungle with your own, roam to other lanes, get deep wards in, etc.
If you seriously believe that a kill is the only way to gain an advantage in this game, then it isn’t the right one for you.
