So tired of Lucian ult getting canceled by stun on a 110 second cooldown.

If Lucian ults and gets stunned or displaced immediately, the ult goes onto a huge cool-down. Wouldn't it be better if the ult stocked up bullets over time and if canceled, it will be placed on a 10 second cooldown, but will only have the remainder of bullets at disposal.

Example, lets say his level 6 ult normaly produced 15 bullets on a 110 cooldown. With the stock system, it would produce 15/110= 0.13 bullets every second. That would workout to about 1 bullet every 8 seconds.

So hence, If I ulted and was stunned after 1 second, I would have used 5 bullets, be placed on a 10 second cooldown and have 10 bullets remaining.

If you are using any channeled ability in such a position that you can be immediately stunned/displaced, you deserve to lose your ult.

No, there would still be counter play, as it would still go on a 10 cooldown, mayby even 20 seconds. The point here is to avoid Lucian wasting his ult with a huge cooldown if he gets stun immediately.

Again, thats just removing counterplay lol. Every channeled ability goes on full CD if it gets interrupted. Or do you want Fiddle ult to not go on a over the top 150 second cooldown because he didnt get to finish it? Or TF or Nunu or Malz...

yes... It would take 110 seconds to fill back to maximum capacity.

orrrrrrrrrrrr Lucian's ult is supposed to be used at a distance where most champions wont be able to reach you to apply CC. If some champion manages flash and dash to you to shut down the ult (most likely taking dmg while getting to you) I think they deserve putting you on the cooldown.

It's called counter play.

Not agreeing with op, but counterplay with Lucs ult is just sidestepping. Can be tricky to nail the whole thing.

A slightly shorter CD would feel better

Well you shouldn't get stunned or displaced with lucian anyways so yeah.. His ultimate is being used for when you can't go in auto attack range or when you want to pokesome out, if you're getting stunned / displaced then you mispositioned.

I get your point. But the thing is, there are a lot of opponents who can quickly close the gap and cancel his ult. not to mention they have 3 second to react and sidestep. champs like Aatrox Ahri Amumu Ashe Diana Draven Elise Gragas Hecarim Jax Kalista Leona Lissandra LeeSin Malphite Malzahar Nami Nautilus Orianna RekSai Shyvana .

All of those champs can close the gap quickly or stun him at range, leaving a good portion of the ult unused.

But I mean the range of the ultimate is well enough to keep you on a safe disctane for any of those guys cc. And like I said you aren't stupposed in my opinion use the ultimate on short range, it's used for when you can't do damage safley or isn't in range.

Pretty sure as an adc, a role where you forego armor and mr in favor of damage, thus leaving you squishy, you shouldn't be in a position where you can get stunned. At least not easily.

But to solve the cooldown issue, I personally buy Yomuu's and Balck Cleaver, both of which work well on Lucian. You don't have to, but I'm just leavin a suggestion.
