Karthus' ult need some adjustments?

Anyone else think Karthus' ult need a bit of an adjustment? When he came out, one of the only thing you worried about was Banshees Veil or Zhonyas. However now, more and more champions are having build in shields or mechanics that outright beat his ult. In the last few champs alone

Tahm Kench - Double Life Bar, can also eat an ally to save them. Kindred - Ult completely counters Karthus Rek sai - Can go underground to avoid it. Ekko - Can ult and escape Kalista - Pull a champ into her with ult to save them.

Those are just some of the new champs that come to mind, not going to go into detail on all the counters the originals have. Im thinking Karthus' ult should maybe scale down a bit in damage, however make the damage guaranteed outside of maybe a zhonyas. Anyone else agree?

No she cannot. She will still take the damage.

Vladimir. Lissandra. Elise. MasterYi. SivirE.Nocturne W. Fizz. Bard. Maokai. Zed and a well timed Shaco ult will also ignore Karthus ult.

an ult that hits EVERYONE on the enemy team reguardless of where they are... Magic pen and 250 / 400 /550 +60% ratio.... not many shields can stop that, if Riven and TahmKench could?

Nononononononono. Considering the range is the entire enemy team, and you can built enough AP to make up the difference in the damage loss, Karthus' ult is fine where it is. If it dealt damage while they were in Zhonya's or some shield, then there would be no counterplay whatsoever. Hell, that's the counterplay right now- Save abilities. The tradeoff with these abilities is that if you don't use it right, you will be stuck and left for dead.
