So Azir is definitely strong again, probably a little too strong. Here's what you do this time:

Before I make my suggestion, let me say it's not his lane phase that is the problem. While he's generally pretty safe, he still had clear weaknesses and strengths during the lane phase (unlike before to an extent).

My issue with him is how powerful he is late game at several different things. Because of his sun disc passive and how strong his soldiers are during seiging, he's one of the best seiging champions in the game (potentially the best tbh). He's also a fairly powerful teamfighter but he does have ways to be played around teamfights.

This is where my issue lies: the duration of his ult, especially at ranks 2 and 3, last way too fucking long. 6 and 7 seconds respectively - that is an eternity in a teamfight. One of the first things you can do, without nerfing anything else and potentially making him trash tier again, is lowering its duration to 4-5 seconds at all ranks. It already has a ton of power with its displacement and I'm fine with this because it's range, if I remember correctly, is only 250, meaning he has to get pretty close to the action. But 7 seconds, that's just too damn long for an already unbelievable zone controlling mage with insane seige.

So this is just a suggestion for now and if it's not enough, look at other areas. But this is a good start without ruining him and allowing him to keep many of his strengths.

Azir ult is annoying to me for one reason, if he knocks you away with it and you react by attempting to flash over the solider wall you may get swept back again, as long as the soldiers are still moving (it's like over a second long animation). It's a bit surprising if you expected to get over the wall like that.

As a whole playing against Azir can be annoying too, he can stall a siege very well, punish dives severely, and if you are trying to force them to fight in the jungle Azir soldiers can wreck your team in chokes, and his wall could divide your team or make it extremely difficult to reach Azir.

No Azir just has a high skill ceiling, and people are finally discovering that the pros weren't building him right. Also his main pick rate was at MSI. I have not seen any Azir's in over 100 games other than myself.

The second a broken build gets destroyed everyone jumped ship and now that people like me still using him viably start to do well people want him nerfed again when his play rate is low and his pick rate is low on top of his average win rate.

Azir's weakness is people able to live long enough to get to him or blow him up. His ult isn't the problem (half the time it doesn't push people back it should have or will bounce people who flash, and it is stopped by wind wall and braum shield the second it hits them). The only problem Azir has had was his ability to have no weak point, which was entirely Riot's fault and they dealt with it. He is a late game hyper carry he should have never been given an easy early game to begin with.

You don't just "live long enough" to get to azir. He destroys you while displacing you, separating you and if he's not, he's zoning you out of the fight.

You can catch him that is what assassin's are for. Just don't play LB/Akali/Kata. Talon destroy's Azir as well as Zed. You shut him down before he gets damage and sustain and AS once he gets all 3 you have failed your job if you aren't ahead enough for it to not matter.

Azir has the best disengaging tools to deal with both Talon and Zed and his lane phase is safe enough to deal with them.

I don't want major nerfs, just lower the duration of his wall. There's literally no reason for his wall to last 7 seconds.

Yeah he's op but it doesn't affect you at all since you're low elo in a wildcard region where no one can play him properly.

Love Azir. Probably my favorite champion mechanically since I started playing this game.

I do agree that his ult may be a little ridiculous. Hilariously I never even realized it lasted that long since I mostly just use it for the knockback and a few autos. I feel like I rarely use the full 6-7 seconds in a fight so that definitely seems unnecessary to me and I'd agree with that change.

My issue with Azir is that in the midgame his attackspeed just feels so terrible, and even if you're building full AP the nerfs to his base damage makes his burst pretty lackluster. I'm okay with having a weak midgame, but he's no longer the big lane bully that he used to be so it actually hurts considerably. I'd like to see maybe a tiny buff to his base attackspeed to accompany an ult nerf, which may redistribute his power a bit and make his midgame feel a lot less clunky/useless.

Azir is in a good spot.

God... Well, Rito really took your advice to heart... Now he sits at a whopping 41% winrate in soloqueue - with a learning curve of 48% winrate after having played 100+ games with him. I like the nerf you gave him - Changing his ult time. But Rito just nerfed him INTO THE GROUND, LIKE JESUS CHRIST ALL THE PATCHES BACK TO BACK NERFING HIM LIKE WTF. Okay sorry just needed to vent.

But 6 nerfs back to back in each patch.

Whyyyy
