How does the range of Zoe's Q work?

It feels like a simple question, but i honestly have zero idea. Sure feels like it gets more then 800 range when you recast it.

Range of Q: Think of it like Aurelion Sol's Q. If it's outside the circle around you, that's where it ends. That's where her ult gets really useful in order to cover more range.

Damage of Q: The longer the 2nd cast's distance is, the greater the damage.

So the 800 distance only kicks in AFTER it passes by Zoe? Hence the spells ability to cover 2,000+ range.

Anywhere it passes the circle, so yeah.

Ok, cool. So, where is the circle? I'm looking SUPER hard and don't see one on the champion when a spell is cast or recast.

As her enemy, you definitely can't see it.

I've never played Zoe before, so I'm unsure if the circle is visible while her Q is travelling. my best bet is to check her Skin Spotlight & see the Q cast circle before she cast it.
