If the split pushing is not going anywhere and your team is losing most fights

#STOP FUCKING SPLIT PUSHING.

If the rest of the team can't win 4v4 or 4v5 (like if a Soraka is on the enemy team and allows them to sustain though most fights) and if you are not making any progress (not just pushing the wave somewhat into their side but also taking towers and other structures), then join the rest of the team, fend off the enemy, and then push a wave. Don't split push while we are losing inhib towers, inhibs, and nexus towers EVER. Split pushing is never a defensive strategy. It only works when on offense or to go from neutral to offense, or to pressure enemies into making a decision between 2 objectives in which you could readily join a team fight if one broke out. Not when they are taking Baron and we have no inhibitor towers.

i was called out by my adc for split pushing in a game last night,. i had item 3060 item 3512 item 2045 item 3068 and getting turrets and making 3 of the enemy team come and deal with me as Braum and i quote the adc " hey braum how does it feel to stand around and have your D*ck in your hand ' i finished with 3-8-11 kda 128cs when my adc Lucian had 4-6-12 kda and 104cs in a 34 min game

Why would you split push as support Braum? Braum makes zero sense as a split pusher and you have the highest amount of deaths while also having the lowest kill participation. Thats called feeding lol

i created pressure with my item 3512 item 3060 made 3 people come and deal with the wave pushing while my team could 4 vs 2

just cuz you dont agree with my strategy .. also i had 2 less kill participation then my adc who had less cs .... and i 1 vs 1 their adc while split pushing ...

No, you got carried. You are going to sit here and tell me split push support Braum won that game and not the 17/2/11 Katarina , 18/6/10 Quinn , or 15/5/18 LeeSin ?

Your team won because your other team mates were able to carry a 4v5 in the rest of the map with a troll support.

Yeah, its almost like he had a troll support who was taking all his CS.

no i got my cs outside of lane as i split pushed .. and wouldnt it be easy to get feed and have kills if your fighting at an advantage?

like maybe a 4vs 3 or 4 vs 2 ?

i never said I WON the game... and i didnt fully split push til after my adc started talking shit in game... that is when i never said a word to the team and just stayed alone... around the part where my adc with 104 cs asked "how does it feel to stand around with my d*** in my hand"

What advantage are you talking about? You got hard carried. Braum makes absolutely no sense to split push on as a champion. Literally the only reason you were able to split push is because the rest of you team was doing well without you.

like i said i drew attention i didnt say it was smart by the other team to come and kill me as braum split pushing but there was always their adc MF , top Darius and usually bard trying to stop and chase me in bot lane with my item 3060 item 3512

I'd like to say: Dont fight them when I'm split pushing. That isn't the point. You dont even need to understand the point. Just don't fking engage into a 4v5 or let them engage, go in when I do, and we'll be fine.

Much of the post is correct, I'd like to add though that split pushing goes both ways.

If you do not take objectives while 2-3 members of the enemy team are chasing your splitter, fight wrecklessly 4v5 instead of waveclearing under your towers during an attempted siege while your teammate is taking an enemy turret+ threatening more, and only seeing where they are on the map After you die to wag your blame finger, then you are EQUALLY at fault, even more so in a lot of cases for not understanding the situation. Splitting is not a solo effort.

I disagree, I think split-pushing can work quite well as a defensive strategy assuming your own team knows what they're doing and plays well (much like any strategy). If the team is 4v5 while I'm splitting, then turtle under a tower. The tower's firepower and zone of control will make up for my own lack of presence in the fight. If my team turtle's effectively and the enemy ignores me, then I'll break into their base. If they don't ignore me, then they'll need to send 2 or even 3 people to deal with my split. At that point, my team can counter-engage and kill whoever stayed to maintain the siege. From there, they can either push the lane (if it looks like I'll get away fine) or come save me (if it looks like I won't) and then push the lane.

If I pull 2 or 3 people off a siege and my team sits around twiddling their thumbs while I die and then fights a 4v5, that's on them not me. I gave them an opportunity to seize the advantage and they wasted it.
