Intentionally banning a pick intent champ should be a reportable offense.

I'm sorry, the only thing more dickish than doing that is going something like ADC Veigar. If you ban out my champ I want to play, ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M FIRST PICK AND CAN PICK HIM WITHOUT EFFORT, I'm going to dodge. It becomes crystal clear you are an asshole and probably won't work with your team.

You know, I was hoping that with the new queue some of this shit would have corrected itself, but the longer I play, the more I'm starting to see a resurgence of the same exact crap.l

Eh. If I don't like a champ and I'm banning, I'm gonna ban that champ. I've been trying to play xin jungle for a while now and it's always my team that bans him. Instead of bitching about it and causing unnecessary tension, I just pick another champ. No biggie.

There's nothing wrong with that. If you believe that they're going to trump your pick, by all means ban.

However, when someone is clearly going to get first access to the pick they want, you're griefing if you ban them out. It's that simple.

There's a difference between banning a popular champ you believe your teammates aren't going to secure, and banning a champion who your teammate has easy access to.

You cannot seriously tell me that banning Yorick when your top laner is first pick is "strategic".

So I personally try not to ban out champions people plan to play (especially if they are first pick) however I don't think they should be punished for it either. There are some champs I'd rather just not have in the game, on my team or the enemy team.
