The problem with overbuffing champs like darius is that

Rexxiee··2 votes·452 views

Hes going to become incredibly broken when/if we get a bruiser keystone.

So we are powercreeping the game even further instead of trying to do the opposite (which would be the correct).

I mean you see how ridiculous camille already is (shes already permaban in high elo), imagine if we ever get fervor back?

Nerf supports and tanks, dont buff bruisers to their broken levels.

the bruiser keystone is not going to help darius

it's going to be a keystone giving dual penetration (mr+armor penetration)

They are retarded if they think this is going to help any bruiser.

So bruiser keystone for them = kayle/kogmaw/varus keystone?

"The new keystone we're working on (which should be a good choice on a lot of fighters, but isn't a fighter specific keystone) "

The problem with Darius is not his damage (aka the aspect that is being buffed). It's his innate lack of mobility: CC royally messes with him and there is a reason why Phase Rush is even considered on him.

No, the best way to buff him, if he even needs one, is to add some kind of unstoppable or cleanse trigger to his Noxian Might passive (a la Olaf's or Alistar's ult). I would gladly take only 20 to 80 AD (half current at 1st level; third current at 18th level) if that were implemented.

You want them to remove his main, inteded weakness?

Lol.

His main intended weakness is ranged harass and kiting (and to be more general, his lack of positioning options). Unless he gets his old MS buff back on top of what he already has, he will still be kitable while also forcing opponents to gage whether to go all in on him hoping to kill him before Might procs or to just CC him on stack #1-4 and let it wear down.

I mean, if you decide to 1v1 Darius and let him get his passive proc'd, he should be rewarded for your bad play, not punished because you also went all in on a lane bully then decided to CC and run.

when i unlocked darius for the reason i wanted more champs in my pool that aren't support i learned that glacial augment tends to help him stick to people especially if he's running approach velocity

I never considered approach velocity+Glacial Augment on him (been using the latter on Illaoi though to help Tentacles not whiff as easily), but this seems a lot better than Phase Rush, particularly in team fights.

I hate to deter from the topic at hand, but which secondary tree would you use?

i usually go resolve for the extra durability and that glacial augment is better than phase rush in solo lane and team fights in solo they have to burn mobility just to get away and in team fights before your passive kicks in it helps add a buffer between the diver and the squishes
