What if Fervor of Battle and Grasp of the Undying were rolled into one rune?
Overwhelming Presence
Basic attacks against enemy champions grant 1-8 AD or 1.25-10 AP (adaptive, scales with level) for 5 seconds, stacking up to 8 times. Melee basic attacks grant two stacks.
At 8 stacks, your next basic attack consumes all stacks to deal bonus adaptive damage equal to (X% of your Maximum Health) (+X% Bonus AD) (+X% AP) and heal you for 25%-50% of that damage based on your Missing Health.
The bonus damage and healing are reduced by 40% for ranged champions.
I mean, basically every tank runs Aftershock, or at least they should because it's the non-support tank keystone.
That leaves Grasp as what's supposed to be the bruiser option for Resolve runes, which it rather spectacularly fails at being.
