Rod of Ages needs some changes

you wanna know why? becuase EVERY competive player and EVERY guide says to get it on if if this is TRULY the best item for nidalee to rush FIRST i wanna know why

you wanna know STRONGEST area? her EARLY game.. her lvl 2 and lvl 3 powerspike. ALL of which goes to waste when the FIRST item i need to rush is i absolutely HATE it.

in the jungle nidalee has NO hp problems. (she had a heal) and MINIMAL mana issue.. a VERY good lvl 2 and 3 powerspike all EVERYONE in the community seems to agree that the best item to rush on her is all of which does it makes it so she isn't TERRIBLE by the late game comes around.

WHY do i need to rush and item that screws over my early game and gives me TWO stats i care nothing about.

i want to rush somthing like or maybe even finish my

somethign that will let me take advatange of nidalee VERY strong early game presence. in order pick an item that makes me stronger in late game which is nids absolute WEAKEST area

but what do i need to do? i need to rush .

is supposed to be for champs like and WHY is it the ideal item for .

Did you know that, you can develop your own build/playstyle for a champion, regardless of what the guides say, or what lcs players do in matches? If you dont like ROA on nid, then dont build it.

that donest change the fact if that if EVERY nid pro build it and its in EVERY guide are your FIRST CORE item.. it probably is safe to safe its its a "good pick" i wanna know WHY.

can some pro who plays nidalee tell me WHY.

Ill copy this straight from the most popular guide on moba fire. "Cheap components and really cost-efficient stats make this item a great early purchase on a lot of mages. The flat health, mana, and extra AP help greatly in engages, sustaining in lane, and scaling into mid game. I typically always buy RoA now given how cost-efficient it is, but if it ever gets nerfed go back to Morello's / Athene's."

Then lolking JUNGLE NIDALEE A LOT has changed since Season 6 changes have been rolling through.

Nidalee went from an extremely good pick, contested, picked and banned very often, to basically a niche pick for those who are extremely experienced on her.

She has some of the lowest win-rates in the game at the moment, even for those who master her.

Nevertheless, I still think she's an extremely strong pick in the hands of the right players, and most pros will agree on this. I see her a lot in high-diamond and challenger.

The biggest difference now for Nidalee jungle, is you'll be playing as an OFF-TANK MAGE, rather than a full glass-canon caster like before.

This is due to a lot of factors, but mostly the resurgence of assassins, and heavy CC champions that make Poke Nidalee awful at the moment.

Then don't? Just play the way you want to. If you want to capitalize on your early game go for it.

what type of guide tells you to finish RoA before your jungle item? i have yet to see a single pro player rush RoA, they always finish their jungle item first and you can build whatever you want. Why do you want something changed? just because some guide tells you that you should build an item you don't want to build? just don't build the damn item then

It's worth mentioning people that write guides just make example builds, more often than not their builds look nothing like the guide's because they know how to build more situationally while newer players just need something to get the feel of the champ with.

i wanna know WHY this is the IDEAL item for Nidalee when in all reality it makes her weaker at her strongest point.

becuase either the ITEM is so strong that its WORTH it to completely Nidalee give throw away your best powerspike area in the game. OR it means that late game is SOO BAD that for her not to be 100% worthless she NEEDS to grab that item.

deep down in my heart i know its the second option. but i think people here are more likely to agree with the first one so i posted that one.

because wither way the problem still remains. item 3027 is SUPPOSED to be for champs that scale will into late game.. nidalee hosts one of the worst late game scaling of any champ. and if she is rushing rod of ages..CLEARLY, SOMETHING is wrong

That's because there's this weird mentality that if you don't have RoA by the 15 minute mark, you shouldn't build it at all.

If this is truly for Nidalee to not have a wretched late game, it would seem to me that this would be something you want by the 30 minute mark for those tough games that look like you'll need it. Just because it doesn't get fully stacked, doesn't make the item worthless. RoA has pretty decent stats on initial buy.

I see very few downsides to finishing Runic Echoes as your first item. The early "Luden's Echo" is much better than the early "Sheen" that Runeglaive offered.

idk how you could possibly have item 3027 at the 15 min mark if you are finishing item 1402 first.

i have to gank so freaking much becuase my teammates feed if i dont get them ahead i rarely have time to stay in the jungle XD.

im extremely lucky to have a game where the enemy team donest have a kill by the time i make my first trip back to base to go get item 3706

i swear people would rather die trying to get a kill then wait 10 more second for me to reach their lane for an easy risk free kill

Most pro players take Ghostblade as a first item on Quinn, as do most Quinn mains.

Me? I rarely touch the item.

Don't rely on the pros to tell you what to build. If you want to try it, then do so; but if it doesn't fit your play style, or you don't like the item, feel free to deviate from it
