Anyone know why high elo ADCs don't put 12 into defense?
It used to be the standard. Now that more people are finally going down offense tree again, why aren't they putting their 12 in defense?

I do, but only when i'm laning with a healer/shielder.
They went down the cunning tree not the resolve tree...
Whats down the defence tree worth taking besides the cdr on summoners? Even that you can get off boots. You get far more from either 12 in ferocity or cunning.
I would assume that their positioning skills, far better than us plebs, allow them to invest more point into their pewpew. Oh, also, if you do get caught as ADC your glass canon build means you die with little to no regard to your 12 points in Resolve, so...
9 in defense used to be the standard, but you get a lot more from the new masteries by going 18/12/0 or 12/18/0 depending on the ADC.
