Everyone got homeguard

It was a great decision that opened up diversity in the boot enhancement. Now can we please so the same with Flash? Either give it to everyone or remove it from the game.

Nah. Fuck giving everyone a third summoner spell. They're already extremely strong. There's no need to put even more power into a mechanic that everyone has access too. That's easily way worse than any advantages that summoner spell diversity would give us.

Take away the need to use up a slot for flash, and suddenly every player has teleport instead. Is that really a world in which you want to live?

It's different though. Since everyone has 2 summoner spells, everyone technically does have a choice in at least 1 of their spells.

Plus, allowing everyone to have an extra summoner spell would have severe balance consequences that far outweigh any advantages of this.

Deleting flash literally destroys game balance. Every immobile champion that struggled against mobility is now permanently trash tier.

Giving flash to everyone means you're either removing the option to ghost instead on certain aggressive champions that prefer the stickiness, or you're giving every player a third summoner spell which adds another button that needs to be bound on an already crowded keyboard while also dealing with all the balance issues.

Boots were not that big of a balance issue because you don't build the enchants until late into the game and they were a smaller proportion of champion power, even given how powerful homeguard was.
