Yasuo Vs Ekko.

Is this a skill matchup? I've always enjoyed the matchup both watching and playing it.

I usually play Ekko

and wanted some other views on how this matchup goes.

It's definitely a skill matchup. Ekko has better base values, but while he holds an early game advantage, both champions have enough outplay potential that it should still come down to who is better.

I always considered it to be Yasou's favor. Ekko really can't pop the Flow Shield, meaning he has to trade unfavorably. Windwall blocks at least half, or all of Ekko's Timewinder, making passive proc's harder. Then his W and ult are on such a delay, Yasou has to get hit by accident with those.

In turn, tank Ekko probably beats Yasou, just since tanks tend to have a respectable matchup against Yasou.

Playing as Ekko vs a Yasuo, honestly if you dash in with your E, most Yasuo's like to just throw out Windwall. That doesn't really stop Ekko's damage cause he can auto attack to get his passive then run around Yasuo till Windwall runs out. Once it does, you can Q and your Ultimate should be on top of both of you since your both melee. So basically the way I see it (As an Ekko main), if your not too behind Ekko wins the Matchup easily.
