The problem with transcendence is you never really build a lot of cooldown until late game

Unless you go out your way to get the 20% cdr items first, you really never hit the max cdr cap until you 4th through 6th item. Most games end by the time you get 3 items.

I'm not saying the rune is bad, just something I observed.

Real issue is that the main champs that want it, which are supports, can't even use the thing well because of the level 10 restriction. Celerity is leagues better by default because of that.

Yeah, I always thought it could use some buffs, but I know it's meant to be a late game thing. Basically, it's fun to stack items together, but it takes a lot of Gold and the payoff isn't huge. Granted, it's nice on supports who build a lot of CDR, while being able to opt into a defensive item and still get a small bit of offence from it.

Till then it's "free" 10%cdr tho.

Then don't use it. Not every rune is for every role/champ.

Yeah I was excited until I realized it was just a more interesting gathering storm.

There are a few champions that benefit from having a lot of CDR early. The main reason you would not take use it is if you have a resource like Mana or Energy.

Multiple mages love it. All the mages I play want to have it usually unless I am against specific matchups.
