I'm Tired of Sustainability With No Counter-play

Champions with incredible sustainability and no counter-play.

DrMundo Warwick Tryndamere Kayle Vladimir Olaf Swain Hecarim Garen

A good use of sustainability with counter-play.

Soraka Zac Anivia Aatrox Lissandra Taric Zilean Ekko

Do you really want to know why these abilities and mechanics work on the above champions? Because they give their enemies and allies ample enough time to counter whatever is going to happen. There is a load time, the movement is predictable and there is a slight window of opportunity to either get away or make a play. The first set of champion do not have that. The first set of champions have high damage, insane CC, mechanics and abilities that heal them to near full health or sustain their life, and abilities to get out of any situation and not be punished for it.

I'm sick and tired of playing against bad champion and outdated champion design. Now that ADC champions are nerfed into oblivion, people start to realize that they were the reason why it was so easy to kill the first group of champions. No amount of healing negating itemization, CC, resistance decreasing itemization, and damage is going to counters overloaded kits with no counter-play.

(I welcome players to come in here and try to explain to me how it is good champion design to have a Tryn that can heal himself to half health, slow a enemy to the point of them not being able to do anything, twirl out of damage, and sustain his life with an ability that makes it incredibly hard to counter and cc him. Explain it to me.)

I honestly never have had an issue with Hecarim's sustain, since it -devours- his mana.

WW is mana hungry as fuck in lane. He's meant to sustain in jungle so that he can track low HP enemy jungler and jump them at camps.

Tryndamere is actually cancer.

Vladimir is a champion you have to actively be aggressive against. Force him to W constantly and you'll notice he loses a lot of his 'sustain'.

Mundo's passive is strangely strong, I agree. His ulti can be countered with items or ignite though.

Kayle's W eats huge chunks of their mana, for a miniscule heal. Her R isn't anything compared to how it used to be these days.

Swain literally requires you to eat his W or E in order to sustain. His ult has plenty of counterplay.

Garen is Garen. His sustain is countered by constantly harassing him.

And really? You think Olaf is problematic? Lol.

item 3075 item 3165 item 3123 hurt most of those champions in sustained fights, lane sustain on the otherhand you are going to have to deal with and work around...

Incase you haven't noticed, the ones who have lots of lane sustain tend to rely on that sustain ALOT

For Try in particular because he has to have fury to actually do damage, so champions that can hard deny him fury, Quinn, Teemo, Vlad, ranges champions in general can easy deny him fury, thus farm, and this damage.

Mundo downside is that his abilities cost life.

Warwick doesn’t get lifesteal until he is halfway dead or are you counting his Q which cost a large chunk of his mana a no downside ability?

Vlad is the closest to no downside but his abilities cost life, his range is short as well being able to deny him most of his life sustain by not letting him third Q.

Kayle’s cost mana.

Olaf cost mana and he has to AA.

Swain needs to land skill shots or needs to have someone else cc so not sure about the no downside one there.

Hecarim’s healing is so small it is basically negligible.

Why have this list about no downside healing and not include Nasus? Bias much?

Nasus actually has legitimate sustain without counterplay. Like, for real, that life steal on a champ whose counterplay is supposed to be constant harass to drive him out of lane seems... Like bad design. When Nasus has been strong, he's been WAY strong.

Which confuses me, why are these other champions here, but NOT Nasus, this seems bias as hell.

Ah yes, who doesn't have trouble with the incredible, insane amounts of Crowd Control provided by the likes of Garen, Kayle, Vlad...
