I know he's been nerfed a lot but I still feel that he's always a better pick in almost any given situation than every other support in the game. I don't know if this is because he's OP or other supports are weak but whether I have one on my team or the other he always seems to outshine the other support.
Troy2426214 votesHe is still too powerful, in my opinion, but the Support role actually has some really great diversity. He doesn't break the role, is my point. You can pick other supports and not be at an immediate disadvantage.

Spicy Rice1 votesThe reason thresh is strong, is that he has a lot of potential in the right hands. Look at a madlife thresh video. Even if you compared it to someone equally as skilled with Janna, or Leona, or Blitzcrank, or Braum, or any other support, it still would seem lackluster compared to thresh.
Basically, in the right hands, thresh is very very strong. However, there are very few hands capable of properly using thresh, so practically, he is balanced
