The two most recently released champions have gimmicks in their kit (Kindred ult and Tahm W) that utterly hose all assassins and most combo mages.
Tahm especially, his W removes all agency assassins and melee champions have - it punishes you for punishing the mistakes of Tahm's allies.
Half the champions in the game can't really play in blind pick right now.

ValyrianBlade1 votesI don't really have much of a problem with Kindred's ult. My only problem with Kindred thus far is the typical new champion problem (too many want to play her, most don't know how, the odd one that does their opponents don't know how to play against, etc...)
Tahm Kench though... gah. That's disgusting. Already I thought Thresh went too far with the safety of his lantern. At least you could stun his ally and prevent them from being able to take the lantern before you killed them though! Tahm can literally just walk in and take them out of hard cc. That's absurd... especially when he gets to do so with 2 full health bars and makes his teammate untargetable...
I'm not saying Tahm is unbeatable, it's not over in champion select. Frankly, I think I've beaten Tahm more often than I've lost to him. He's still really frustrating though and I don't believe that ability belongs in this game... Tahm is always a priority ban for me unless a teammate wants it, which is really saying something when we have the Juggernaut update / Fiora rework / Gangplank rework that wrecked champion select lately...
MealReadytoEat1 votesI wasn't saying this was bad or good, its just the DOTA approach - these champs are incredibly powerful, but highly situationional, and WAY more effective against some champs than others.
