Baron Buff is too strong!

When you are losing but still have inhibitor turrets and the enemy gets baron buff, you are going to lose every last inhibitor. God forbid you're already lost an inhibitor or two cause more often than not the game is over. Towers are already melted to all hell, add a baron buff and they pretty much don't exist, and the stat boosts just throws it over the edge. I can't tell you how many even game I've seen decided by whichever team got Baron buff first.

Yes, Baron Buff ends games, but games need to end. Without Baron most games would be stallable, hour long affairs. It needs to be that strong

One buff should not decided a game. A jungler can secure 4 dragons in a row then the enemy gets baron buff and he loses just like that. That's rediculous. It is way too strong.

well its not meant to end games, just make them a bit faster since its meant to siege not just straight up end that being said look at it this way, an elder dragon does the same as baron it just is that elder dragon has an even shorter cd then baron with higher stats as well

I think a better way to say it would be "Baron buff is too strong for how easy Baron is to kill". Baron buff is meant to end games, however it is pretty ridiculous it is that you can do baron in 10-15 seconds at 20 minutes if you have vision control and 5 people. I would personally love to see Baron's base stats at 20 minutes increased and have his scaling slightly reduced so a Zyra team doesn't just wander over at 20 minutes to take it.

With 2 other people you could easily take this in a few seconds at 20 minutes.

This is a good point. In solo q, the team usually don't camp around baron all time, and if you know that the enemy go for baron, that is too late.

But the true problem is that baron steal is way easier from red side. They should remove the pit and put it in the middle.

well that is not always the case, yes in most cases you lose with baron buff. however the buff is a siege ability and thankfully has a pretty short duration for how strong it is, that being said, i have been in games where my teams and have have been losing most of the game, even contesting for dragons and baron, but somehow we manage to outplay them when they end up going for the win and turn it around.

maybe its because they were to cocky about winning after getting baron, or maybe we were just being patient enough for them to make a mistake while having it. who knows, all i know is that 80% of the time you will lose if the enemy gets baron but there is always a chance you win even when they get it

That whole "patient enough to wait for them to make mistakes" annoys me because the only one who really controls if they're gonna throw is the team that throws. That's simply luck because your fate is in their hands.

yes and know, it takes about 6 seconds to see the mistake when they go to siege, and if you happen to play the right champion for the right situation then you can act upon it and win a fight for their mistakes.

i have done it a few times in the last week actually, won a game in a very bad position like that, it was tough but we still won it even though they ended up with baron and most of the dragons, i think we only got one in one of those games last week and still managed a win.

All i see is me making a pick so i can get my team baron and then watch em run down mid and suiside and then the enemy ends up grabbing the Inh instead. then ofc i just flame them and rq. and this happens in mid diamond so yeh. i dont even wanna know what it's like in even lower elo.
