Which of the mage reworks are you happy about?

I think Malzahar is better cause even with the new kit, there is counter play to his press r lock and kill target. I say that because the ult it self does not do most of the damage, it is the voidlings that will kill you when he ults. Hence killing all void lings immediately can improve that counterplay.

Brand Brand new passive further points to do not stay close. Really adds to his identity and make interesting gameplay with a hidden agenda when playing him. Lots of burnining aoe damage.

Vladimir never really like vlad as he seemed unhealthy to play against. Not sure but his new kit seems to have more counterplay in lane.

Zyra looks like the new ap Illaoi. But she still have the ability to go out of her zone and be effective. I like very much cause she doe not have to be a full support any more

Cassiopeia I was really looking forward to her new W and grounded cc. But Ive tried it on the pbe and it feels nearly useless to land and I can honestly say I have yet to actually prevent anyone from dashing. This is because the new W has a fixed range and leaves a lot of room for a zed to jump over her wall and get to her. The only defense she has at that point is her ult that has a huge delay and cooldown. I really wish her W had a range like yas wind wall. I mean, she is immobile, why riot thinks the fixed range has to be so far is beyond me. I can only imaging it being good to prevent champs from running away, but with her new passive and q movespeed buff, champs running away is unlikely especially with item 3116 .

Overall, her W is really good idea and new mechanic, just feels poorly done. I maybe missing something here.

Velkoz Identity nailed. Tank killer. lore nailed.

Annie Still feel like she plays in the same unhealthy manner. Flash stun burst and done. I would prefer 70% of her damage going to Tibbers and giving her a unique ID of a pet master mage.

Let me know your thoughts....

Both likes, dislikes, and concerns: Annie Concerned, but they DID specifically say in the dev corner posts that they liked her flashbear stun. She's supposed to be bursty as Michael Bay film with mobility and squishiness being her key weaknesses. Of course now in 6.9 we're getting a mage dash item so... this should be interesting to see how she pans out. It was really part of her counterplay that she was immobile and she gets a damaging dash now.

Cassiopeia I am quite worried about her W. It's lane-wide now but HOPEFULLY deals less damage. My question is does it CANCEL dashes like Vi's Q. Full disclosure, I am working on becoming a Vi main. I love her kit. The fact they used Vi in the video for her W made me QQ.

Veigar Both excited AND concerned. Let me explain. I love how everything stacks his AP now. However, his ult seems a bit less unique now. It used to delete other mages. it had damage scaled off of targets' AP, which meant target selection could be somewhat important. It still could shred squishies, though. I would've been fine with turning his old ult into a line-attack skillshot, honestly. Point-and-click seems... strange given the burst. The reworked ult just seems... boring in that it's the same finisher we see on so many others.

Zyra I'm quite happy with this. As a support main whose struggles with Zyra (I tend to play Braum/Morgana), this seems like it might really allow her to shine. Though one thing I'll miss is the old true damage passive when she dies, even if it was hard to land at times. At least I THINK that is gone now.

Well... ... how will you know if you prevent dashes?

It's not a very visible disable except for maybe Vi whose dash has a charge-up time that's somewhat visible. Also, I'm curious to know if her new CC will actually stop a dash that's already initiated OR if it simply only stops the activated. In short, the way I understand how it works (I'm not in PBE so can't test), is that a dash that's initiated outside of the debuff zone will continue to work, treating the zone like a wall.

Of course I may be completely wrong.

I actually like the fixed range considering the debuff allows you to block use of summoner 4! I mean... seriously. But at the same time, I can understand the point of view when you're actually playing her.
