Premades Ruin Ranked.

I am tired of playing against a plat 1 player and his bronze 5 partner. The plat 1 player just picks an OP champ, beats the crap out of a silver player, and steamrolls the game by himself. Riot, in what universe should I lose LP for losing to a Plat 1 player as a silver 5 player, and his bronze 5 teammate that didn't even attack anyone all game gets LP? I am so done with this premade BS. There is literally no reason we can't have a real SOLO QUEUE.

So that's why the it hurts the ranking system, but aside from that premades also:

Are generally toxic
Feed together (impossible to win) or coordinate together and you can't counter that with 3 random players and a feeding duo.
Should not be ranked on the same scale as a player going in by himself with no oral communication with anyone on his team.

you uh, realize that they cant actually Que if that guy is plat and the other bloke is bronze right? Was this a norm or was that other guy just plat last season?

The only toxic people I've found in ranked are those that aren't in premades. Plus when I'm in a premade for ranked I only go with people in my division. So not all premades fit that. Though I do agree your scenario is pretty shitty.

You also listed 3 twice friend. I also feel like your last point is right, but in the sense that premades should be ranked higher than someone with no oral communication. That communication over Skype or Curse or whatever you use helps.
