I played a mage support instead of mid

yet it dont give you AP ... or HP which dorans ring does which is better to trade and have some early game power.

yet i have used coin for a long time top lane in bad match ups where i knew i was gonna get harassed and would have lil chance to farm ( and this was before the buffs to it)

And that's after the small mana nerf on it! :P

But it didn't give you more gold, HP, or AP so that's your trade off. Not that having more mana is meaningless, but you are giving stats up.

And only because you're missing cs but still able to go into melee range to pick them up..?

The mana is too good.

Also, the movement speed from both the passive and active is OP
