Not one gemstone in any of the orbs, I'm so sad

Gemstones normally have a 3.6% drop rate, so it's fairly low. It is said you can't go through more than 50 chests at a time without getting one, so yeah, gotta buy some more.

im sitting on almost 20 gemstones collected from free boxes, and the blue essence shop over the years (i only ever bought the 20 orb bundle during the vs. event for 500rp because someone at riot made a mistake and put it up for 1/10th of the price), and nothing to use them on.

i wish every skin in the game had a gemstone cost in addition to RP, so we could spend them on regular skins, if we dont like any of the mythic skins.

1 gemstone for skins 950 rp and below 2 gemstones for a 1350 rp skin 5 gemstones for a legendary 10 gemstones for an ultimate

would be nice.

When the hextech exclusive skins already cost 10, and they are pretty much 1350 skins, it'd be much higher for the others.

Also, 975. 950 isn't a tier

the hextech skins are worth like 100 bucks if you try to get the 10 gems from boxes regularly. i remember when they were just slightly less available at launch (not given in bundles), people spent 300 $ to 500 $ on hextech chests to get 10 gems together.

i mean you already made a similar experiece for one gem.

10 gems for a regular skin seems ridiculously overpriced in this regard.

i just looked again, and remember that those 16 gems i have (not 20), i got over the entire time the hextech system existed since launch, by getting every single available mastery box over every season, and 300 000 blue essence spent, and i bought a legendary skin and what was supposed to be a 5000 rp bundle.

for 10 gems that are worth around 100 $, an ultimate doesnt seem too greedy. neither do the other ones for 1 - 5 gems.

actually that looks pretty dope, and im ~~abusing~~ playing chogath quite frequently. didnt realize it was a mythic skin so i might consider it now.

for some reason im holding out on spending those gems just in case theyd add a mythic garen skin at some point like they gave darius one, in which case id bite myself in the ass.

thats such a faint chance though that i should probably not hold my breath.

Do you go for AP bruiser or full tank? Also how do you hide your stats on op.gg?

I think Garen has so many skins... they can't release a gemstone skin for him anytime soon, surely? Dreadnova Darius has a ring to it... Dreadnova Garen not so much

full tank on chogath.

the health from his ult makes those defensive stats just so insanely valuable. and health scales your ult damage up better than ap does.

im not hiding my stats. this is just a forum smurph that i have since the old boards existed. i grew attached to it.

Wooooow. I literally asked support a couple weeks ago if Dark Star Cho was ever gonna be in the gemstone shop like promised, they said it had been previously and, "is no longer available for players through rerolls or purchase."

I can't even. I don't even know what to believe anymore.

It was released as a charity skin but it was so badly marketed (I never knew it was a charity skin or only temporarily available, same with a lot of people). I think so many people asked, that they had to re-release it somewhere
