open mid should be bannable offense for 1 day ,like ggizi or ggez

Open mid is legit. Not everyone wants to wait 20 minutes to ff a known loss. And not everyone lacks the judgement to tell if a game is already a loss.

Open mid is pretty common, especially if your team scales bad into late game and you gave away quite abit of kills early.

At a certain point it isn't about 'giving up', its about managing your time proficiently, if a game is lost wasting further time feeding is rather pointless and ignorant.

With better odds on attempting a win in another game if trying to climb, some people do not have all day to play, if its ranked ofcourse. In higher elo open mids are most conventional based on how much LP they are attempting to gain in as little time as possible.

Played a game earlier: I was getting kills top lane, mid had rage quit after getting blown up by an annie lvl 2, bot was collectively 0/4 and jungler was 1/3/1 after helping me get kills top. To top it off we scaled worse in all lanes and we were 8 minutes in.

Yes I think you can open mid and call it gg there. There is just no way to win from that position.

Nobody wants to waste their time on the lost game ,when the score is like 1-15 at the 10 mins.
